One of the things I'm enjoying about this show is that, since it is so complex, several of the actors have kicked their acting up a notch for it.
Case in point is Kim Gyo-jeon. In the family and historical dramas I've seen him in before, he's had a tendency to ham it up a bit, but here he's a little more understated, and to me, much more compelling.
Similar for Jeong Dong-hwan. He was just as ruthless in "A Woman's Choice", but seems a lot more menacing here.
