In order to keep things straight I have tried to put together this list of characters through the end of episode 1. This is based on the d-addicts subtitles and the KBS screenplay and the KoreanWiz page. If I'm making mistakes, which is entirely likely, or you have anything to add (as of the end of episode 1), please write it!
The Police
Kang Oh-soo (Eom Tae-Woong) - Detective
Ban Chang-ho (Joo Jin Mo) - Kang's superior and leader of the detective team. He told Kang about Hae-in's powers.
Lee Min-jae - the female detective
Shin Jae-min - the male detective
The Kang household and intimates:
Oh-su's father, Kang Dong-hyeon (Jeong Dong-Hwan)
Oh-su's elder brother, Kang Heui-su (Choi Duk-Moon) .
They are in some kind of hotel/real estate business.
Choi Na-heui (Yoon Hye-Kyung) - Heui-su's wife, Oh-su's sister-in-law
Na Seok-jin (Kim Young-Jae) - He works for the Kang interests and is a childhood friend of Heui-su, who asks him to call him "elder brother". He is familiar with all their doings. He seems to have weird feelings about Seung-ha when negotiating with him over the Soon-ki settlement, although Seung-ha says they've never met before. He is also apparently carrying on some kind of romance with Na-heui.
Others:
Seo Hae-in (Shin Min-Ah) - Librarian, artist and psychic
Yeo Soon-ok (Lee Bo-Heui) - Hae-in's mother
Gong Joo-heui (Lee Eun) - Hae-in's friend and partner in the "Tarot Cafe".
Oh Seung-ha (Joo Ji-Hoon) - lawyer, appears on radio shows and defends the poor.
Cha Kwang-doo (Kim Gyu-chul) - lawyer (? or assistant?) in Oh's office.
Kim Soon-ki (Oh Yong) - mysterious convicted homicide and client of Seung-ha. His lawyer at trial was Mr. Kwon, now deceased. He has been involved in crime for a long time; it was a case involving Soon-ki that led Kwang-doo to leave the police force. He is associated with the Kang family in unknown ways; Soek-jin calls him "a friend of ours" and they are backing the financial settlement with his victim's family which may get him out of jail. In a conversation with Seok-jin, Oh-su says he is 'sorry and grateful' about this whole business.
Kwon Hyeon-tae (Lee Do-Ryeol) - he was sent a "Judgment" tarot card and then killed. He was the Kang family's main lawyer and a personal friend, and reportedly a benefactor of Kang Oh-su. Oh Seung-ha worked for Kwon for six months.
Jo Dong-seop (Yoo Yeon-Soo) - chief suspect so far in the murder of Kwon, he had some kind of grievance against him and angrily accused him of never contacting him for a year to apologize for "ruining a life".
Jeong Tae-hoon - the name of (apparently) the murder victim in the opening sequence (12 years ago)
Kim Young-cheol (Jo Jae-Win) - I have no idea who this guy is, except that he works in an office - and he had the third tarot card. (Has the same family name as Soon-ki but Kim is a pretty common name.)
