It was only a neutral question about word usage; no off-color intent implied of anyone. Newer meanings that words acquire do sometimes make older usages less attractive, and it's always good to weigh these things (I have to in my work). Actually, what's puzzled me more about it is simply how many kings there can logically be in one domain at one time. But I know it's intended as an honorific here rather than suggesting THE king.

Thanks Soju, I just passed 200 posts and was wondering when the next star comes. Also it seems that posts placed on any one day all have the same number, therefore making it how many different days one posts messages. Or did I mess that up also?

Your numer of posts is stored along with your user profile, and every post you'ver ever made will reflect this value as it changes.
Pretty much the same way your Avatar changes in all your old posts if you update it.

Although it would be really cool if the order of posting showed up, too! LOL. Too much to ask for, I guess.

PS - ajk, I forgive you. ROFL.

hello, to all my co-kdrama lovers. I too, am sort of new, but I just noticed now, that I have reached "junior".
I sometimes do things kind of backwards fom time to time, like reading this string now, but it's nice to be here & post with all of you, too.
keep watching!

You two are doofi (try looking that one up), fer sher. Mr. Michael Han, our board's founder, who is a Korean person living in America and who would never, ever, EVER make an off-color joke, and I'm not kidding on that, chose the titles. "Wang" is fitting, as anyone who watched "Emperor Wang Gun" could attest. So you just get your little minds up onto that higher plane. LOL. Bo Ooh, you guys got in trouble. Now you know not to mess with Bo! I'm only kidding. Welcome! -7Stars

By the way, Otaku, what is "Otaku" and why does it sound familiar to me?

"Otaku" is a Japanese word that translates to "fanatic", usually referring to anime. It suits me fine, since I am Japanese and collect anime, but now I can add K-dramas to my list of borderline unhealthy obsessions, LOL.

As far as Anime what are you into Otaku?
I was an avid follower of several Anime series at one point or another throughout my time in front of the television.

I buy anything that catches my eye, which explains my astronomical credit card debt, but my favorites are Naruto, Final Fantasy, Samurai Jack, and yes, Voltron, and the Transformers. My wife collects Sailor Moon and Totoro. I also have a huge comic book collection dating back to when I was a kid (I was a die hard fan of the Flash), and I'm probably going to start selling them on Ebay because my house is starting to get a little cluttered, not to mention those horrible movies ruined the X Men for me.

I didn't think the movies were bad. But how can you capture the X-Men in live action right.
I appreciate the fact that you are classically minded when it comes to comics and anime. Naruto is good stuff. One of my buddies is really into that.
I was into Dragonball Z during high school and... ahem... college. I'm still known to take in a little DBZ or Gundam every once in a while.
Welcome friend, it's always good to find a kindred spirit.

Thank you, Otaku, for that explanation. Also, you have corrected a misapprehension on my part, because after I asked you that question, I saw a photo captioned "Otaku tattoo" on Kotaku, and thought the term referred to that anime character only (it was some sort of frilly princess).
Hey, wait. Otaku. Kotaku. Hmm.... LOL.

LOL Bo, a frilly princess I am not. Alas, I am not a wang, either be assured otaku, it takes more effort and intellect - and it is more honorable to become a WANG than a frilly princess - - - and you are clearly on the path to WANG-DOM
