I’m a few weeks ahead of Chicago on the weekend drama, and Daughters in Law just began last night on my satellite station (replacing A Happy Woman).
I was totally burned out on HW, so much so that I stopped watching altogether, and was instead watching a show over on SBS (“Karl and Su-jung”) in the same timeslot. So, when the episode of K&S ended last night, I switched over to KBS and was a little surprised to find a new show under way.
Now, I wish I’d seen the entire first episode. Judging from Episode #1, this new drama show seems very promising! Much more light-hearted than HW, in some respects it reminds me of “Bizarre Bunch,” as it features a cast of just slightly off-key characters.
Initial reviews on the California board, however, were very polar. The L.A. fans either loved it or hated it - nothing in-between. I guess you Windy City folks will have to judge it for yourselves when it comes your way.

Mikey, thanks for all the great info!
Sooner or later we begin to understand that love is more than verses on valentines and romance in the movies. We begin to know that love is here and now, real and true, the most important thing in our lives. For love is the creator of our favorite memories and the foundation of our fondest dreams. Love is a promise that is always kept, a fortune that can never be spent............
From Dae Jang-geum: Sun-dol: "Are you trying to dry me up and kill me? Why do you say the same things over and over every day? Rather, come and hit me once! Aigu!" But then: Dr. Lazarus: "By Grabthar's hammer, by the suns of Warvan... You shall be avenged."
