Hi Captainvideo,
Yeah...I didn't paticularly like the pool scene..... I think they could have left it out. Even if Go Joo Won was in the scene...... I still wouldn't think it's (family) appropriate.
It's just my opinion.

Did anyone else see the movie "April Snow"? I'm sure they got this plot device from there. Meow? Maybe I didn't really pay attention to the movie since I was busy staring at Yonsama the whole time but how's it similar? Or maybe cause I haven't caught the whole series. Or do you mean similar in that there's a lot of cheating spouses in this drama?

Because the two lovers get into a car crash together while sneaking around. It's not exactly the same situation, but enough so that it occurred to me.

I haven't watched that yet, hoping to tonight. What I remember most about April Snow is that they show my Yon-yon eating ramen-in-a-cup and it's the same brand I love. I think I even mentioned that to you when we went to go see it.

LOL. Yonsama is in this drama? I had no idea. I've really gotta get that TV reception fixed...

Oh, Bo, you just keep getting more and more confused... Yon-yon is not in this drama, and he never played a used-car salesman, neither. GC, it was just at the very end and then in the previews. I'm picturing the inevitable phone call that the hubby has been in a car accident, and maybe she won't know that the Lov-ah was also in the car until she gets to the hospital.... Just like April Snow. I'm still trying to figure out what was offensive about the swimming-pool scene, though. Singer, did I miss something?

It's still hard for me to pay any attention to this one. If we're lucky, they'll crawl out from the wreckage just in time for that Korean truck driver to come along and "unite" them for good. That's one plot device I wouldn't mind seeing just one more time for these two.

This would be good because it would offer the opportunity for TrampyGirl to carry DuffusBrain to the hospital on her back. ;D

It wasn't a long scene. I just thought it was odd that they did a pool scene in a K-drama....they usually don't wear swimsuits in dramas or go to the pool. The swimsuits were a little skimpy....that was all I was referring too.

But I remembered the many kind comments from Lucy and one or two others about Oon-hyuk's physique in a river scene in, Seoul 1945, so I just assumed this was the general attitude towards these types of scenes since they are so infrequent in this medium. Sorry I brought it up, I was just trying to be funny, but on the other hand, it's not like he was wearing a Speedo, nor she a thong......

The daily drama from a year or two ago where the main character was a girl who got married to a jerk to save her family home. At one point all of the "young people" go to a pool, and we were all like, ! at one or two of the characters' physiques, especially the one guy we had all thought was just a goofball at that point. We took him a little more seriously after seeing his physique after that! Shallow, I know, but honestly, he didn't look or act very manly otherwise, but seeing all those muscles made one think twice. Just goes to show you how shocking the sight of a little flesh can be in these usually demure contexts. I see what you're saying, Singer.
