I'm not used to eating kimchi yet, so it would get a stunned and nauseated reaction from me. But if I had eaten it 3 meals a day all my life, I'd guess it would be different. Still, bland seems better; if not Saltines, then rice, maybe with sesame seeds? Applesauce? Canned pears? Seven-up? Pretzels? There are lots of things more appealing to me. During my pregnancy, I gained 15 pounds in the first 3 months, because the morning sickness I had lasted all day and could be fought only by eating. ;D

Oh, dear, I thought I was being funny. Just the words "aged kimchi" and the idea of the strong flavors of kimchi being somehow extra-appetizing to someone who hasn't been able to hold anything down for a week, seemed like a punchline to me.

;D LOL Lucy! Never heard of that old craving for dill pickles and ice cream??? I lucked out - NOT MUCH morning sickness as such - I held it down with saltines - the good side was smoking cigarettes was OUT - I could not abide the smell so I didn't smoke and I made everyone around me quit in my august presence! LOL Now I know that was the best thing for my babies but back then [in the Dark Ages], we were not informed about just how much damage smoking could do. There are medications Eunju should be given by any OB worth the name. I don't understand why the K-dramas portray the medical profession as so clueless all the time. The only doctor I remember so far who seemed to know exactly what to do and when was the old country doctor in the Chill sisters. But I guess if the Extreme Princess didn't have all this horrible morning sickness, the plot would not advance the way the writers want it to. Give her some kimchi - maybe that WILL help her. LOL

I am a great grandmother of 5 and the mother of 5 I never had Kimchi, but from the sounds of the ingredients it probabley would have done me in.... what the "Princess" needs is a strong dose of her husband to start acting like a MAN and stop kissing her royal --- (you know what body part I mean. LOL
