mom and i started watching it but it started out slow for us, it's been on here for a few weeks now, we watch it from time to time to see what's going on, we'll likely pick back up with it in the middle as we always do.

That bride is a spoiled brat. Reminds me of Mi-chil. I'm waiting for the question, "How can you act at your own will?" Leaving Je-ju Island on her own and the groom helping hide it....aigu...is there hope for her? Or for them? Her sister is reasonable. I suppose it would be considered wrong for him to marry his SIL after divorcing the brat? The dancing-lessons professor/writer is really good looking I think. mmmm. No wonder the groom's cousin had a crush on him for years. (Gotta learn these names soon. )

Lol, marrying the sister-in-law would be an easy solution to his life's problems. But, I'm tired of seeing the rich brat scenario so it's refreshing to have a wealthy character be nice!
The groom doesn't have a cousin. The woman that has loved the professor is his aunt.

Actually, Sang-hyeon (groom) does have at least one cousin: his uncle Myeong-tae has a daughter studying at a school in the USA.

She didn't seem to be the same generation as the others.

I must've missed it... When the two older women were having lunch, Sun-im says that her son is going to immigrate (actually, emmigrate) as soon as he can get a visa, and that his daughter was studying in the US, and his wife had joined her. Myeong-tae repeated this when Sun-im was nursing his lacerated fingers. He's evidently learning to be a tailor, so he will have a trade to get a visa with. Judging by how he butchers his fingers, he's no U-Gyeong's Grandpa

I really like this show. Usually the beginning of each drama is wearing to me, the beginning episodes of Heaven and Earth gave us a lot of information and kept my interest, I think this is going to be really good. The list players is excellent.

It does manage to keep me curious. But, I wish they'd cast the role of Mu-yeong as someone other than Park Hae-jin. I can't stop thinking that he's Ha-nam....

I had a hard time with that until just recently. I loved Park Hae-jin as Hanam. In this drama Mu-yeong seems much different, younger and with a different personality.

I like him better in this role. Ha-nam is jut too perfect. Mu-yeong has a nice edge.

He does seem different from his old role of Hanam, but I'm with Soju. I like him much better as Muyeong. He's more of a man in this show than as Hanam, who always seemed like a boy in ICS.

He doesn't seem like a man to me, more like an immature kid who's determined to stay angry at everyone. Okay, angry at Grandma I can understand, because she keeps putting him down. And the uncle does too. But his mother, father, brother and aunt seem devoted to him. He sees their every act as an insult. I want to say "Snap out of it!" Where Cher when you need her?
