The girl is Hong Ji Hee, the daughter of the CEO of the law firm that Taebong worked for. The girl is throwing the birthday party for her father. She is also, apparently a former girlfriend of Taebong's. If you are really interested in spoilers, you might try the California board.

I saw the final episode of “Dalja’s Spring” last night, and - just like “The Infamous Chill Sisters” - it concluded with a fast forward.
But, what a difference there was between the two! While “Chill Sisters” had (IMHO) one of the all-time worst endings ever, the final episode of “Dalja’s Spring” was wonderfully well done. Everything was perfectly wrapped up by the show’s end.
I had high hopes for “Chill Sisters” and came away grossly disappointed. I had only minimal expectations for “Dalja’s Spring,” and I’m amazed at how it way exceeded them. Quite a fun show, and one I’ll miss when next week rolls around.

I totally agree. I haven't seen the ending yet, but I really thought that this show would end up wishy-washy, but that has not been the case! The supporting cast was really wonderful in this show. I don't think anyone could play Dalja quite to perfection as Chae Rim has.

I can picture several actresses playing this role. However, there's only 1 actress who I think could do it just as good as Chae Rim, if not better than her, and that's Kim Haneul. She's the best I've seen when it comes to comedies.

Kim Ha Neul was a good choice, Knov1.. Song Hye Go even, now that I think about it.

Does "Devil" replace Dalja's spring? What kind of drama is Devil?

is this drama over on Wednesday? I've missed a few episodes but I've come on the board and after looking at the posts have pretty much caught up.

Does "Devil" replace Dalja's spring? What kind of drama is Devil? Devil (incidentally, my satellite broadcast actually has it titled as Lucifer) is a kind of supernatural thriller, with a police detective, a psychic young woman, and a handsome (but very creepy) young lawyer all somehow involved in a murder where someone is sending tarot cards to the all the major players. Though it’s been a popular show in some quarters, this kind of drama really isn’t my cup of tea, and I’m only half-heartedly watching it. If you like supernatural thrillers, though, then absolutely take a look.

"Devil" was a dissapointment for me ... esp. the ending. This drama is dark thriller without any excitment.
