Thanks for posting this, candylover. This is helpful to people to those of us who don't have a real good grasp yet of the different kingdoms and time periods and how the series fit into them.
Sorry I missed that Jumong series; wow that one reaches way back.

i rememebered seeing this awhile back and thought that since DJY is coming to an end it would be helpful to see were Balhae is in a timeline of events. thanks to Candylover for info

AJK, If you have the chance to rent Jumong, it is a must see. It helps explain why DJY's flags had 3-legged birds, the weapons used, and other stuff. Of course, Song Il-Guk is pretty nice to look at also.

Thanks, mom--I'll definitely keep my eyes open for it. I've read a wide range of opinions about the series and it's all gotten me very curious about it.
