Oh... my aching heart...
It's the end... the end.
What a fulfillment...
Poor Choi Hyang... those three years with the Mongols really did you in...
Poor Choi Woo... being first isn't all its cracked up to be...
Poor Choi Choong-hon... best way to end your life is not by seeing your younger self deface you...
Poor Emperor... whose going to bottle feed you now...
Poor Mother Choi... I'd be cursing Buddha right now, both sons, trusted slave, and beloved nephew, all gone before you...
...............
Where's Kyung Dae-Seung when you need him?!!
*sob*
Okay... bring on Immortal Yi! I'm done grieving...
Who am I kidding, I'll be grieving for some time... but Yi will help out.

Sniff Indeed!! My husband and I are OBSESSED with "the age of warriors". we got into it around the "1170 rebellion". We have faithfully followed the story and I am VERY UPSET about the end. I need info. WHERE can I get this series on DVD WITH ENGLISH SUBTITLES? Tell me and I will remember you forever!! Also is "Immortal Yi" supposed to be a continuation of "The Age Of Warriors"?

Also is "Immortal Yi" supposed to be a continuation of "The Age Of Warriors"? no. admiral yi sun shin, is the story of the famous 16th century admiral, who, with a fleet of twelve ships, took on the mighty japanese fleet under toyotomi hideyoshi, during the "Imjin War". AOW takes place in 12th century Koryo.

i can't believe that it is over. i am so sad and depressed. it just doesn't seem possible after all this time, that just like that it is gone. it was the best viewing experience i have ever had. i feel like part of my life is gone. the admiral will help, but you cannot replace The Age of Warriors. i am heartbroken.

THank you for replying ID, now I am officially depressed. my husband will be too. the age of warriors is TOTALLY over Hey Foxxy, don't worry. AOW was a great show by all means, but from what others are saying, Yi Soon Shin is way better with bigger battles and great storytelling like AOW. And they got NINJAS!!!!! ;D

i disagree skinz. sure, Yi Sun Shin features computer-like special effects {like those three and a half hour Lord Of The RIngs movies}But, i know that it won't capture me, like AOW did. Plus, my girlfriend, will still think it is "Chinese Crap"

You know ID, you might be right. From reading VIB summaries about the new series, it started out great. Now, Instead of "The Immortal Yi Soon Shin", they're are showing "The Adventure Little Yi Soon Shin and Co." I know the producers are trying to make us understand a great man and how he became the great man, but isn't this a bit too much. AOW started out with a bang and never died out. To anyone who have seen YSS, did the series die out? The trailer seemed so gung-ho(which I like), I just hope it didn't cover just the first couple of episodes.

Emperor Wang Guhn did the same thing, showing "Goongyae" & "Wang Guhn" as kids... i think it made their stories more powerful. i got hooked on my very first drama, 'Chang Nok Soo", cuz i was just flipping channels, and saw these cute kids & wondered what their story was. p.s. Great Banner -- is it for the new show "South Korea" ;D Mind if i (or whoever writes the page) for an AOW web page on koreanhistory.tv?
