I think you're the one who should read closer. Oh, SD, I'm really sorry for misreading your previous post. I don't objet your opinion. You're telling about 21th century China, while I'm telling about 7th century China. We can say that Tang Empire is also a political entity, but not like today. Not yet. BTW, this is a drama thread. My comment on Ep. 9 is... "Hwaiting Gae Dong !"I also would like to add one more favorite character. Guhm Mo Jam (Koguryo warrior) - About this historical personnage, we don't have much information except some lines in Sam Guk Sa Ki . I come to like Kim Myung-Soo in this drama, because he doesn't overact any more (at least up to now) as he was in IYSS. Most of all, he has a good voice !

I agree, I really like the way he speaks in DJY. I still enjoyed his version of Wakizaka in IYSS, though. But he is a very different character here and I appreciate his acting ability to create such a cool character.

The show have missed one of the historic character "Ma-Gyeom", this guy was one time enemy to YGSM, but became one of famous YGSM's worrior, and he was the guy took the blade attack during attempted assasination of YGSM, not young Dae Jo-yeong

Guys, China was big empire, so there were many tribes or race origins were became part of today's China. Koreans are one of them that used to settled in manchuria regions and part of siberia and Korea, however only Mongolia, Korea and Vietnam survived and kept their heritage & languages, all the rest did not and became part of China. Therefore, for China to claim ancient Korea's heritage or histroic events or regions is ambitious and arrogant. But fact is China now controls most of ancient Korean lands and Korea can not do anything about. May be China should promote more close tides with Koreans, Mongolia, and Vietnam to create huge economical and cultural block rather than domination.

For NYC and Northern NJ, check out MKTV, channel 72, 512 or 261 depending on your cable network. Seoul 1945 just finished last night. They are showing this on the weekends Sat and Sun around 6:45-8:00pm. Time varies but around this time. I'm pretty sure that it will start tonight--first episode of Dae Jo Yeong. For a full schedule, go to www.mediakoreatv.com

betz, thanks for the link to the vod.
i had been to the official site, and found the link. but when i try to view the episodes i get forwarded to a site called conpia. whenever i try to register there, as a foreigner living abroad, i get nothing. i can usually find my way through this stuff, but not this time. i was hoping i was missing something for the vod link. again, thanks for the info.
i have tried from both IE7 and Firefox.
any suggestions? anyone?
