I wonder how Choi's children will take it now that he may not be able to recognize them. If you've ever known someone with Alzheimer's, it just floors you when someone you've known your entire life asks you, "Now, who are you?"
You suddenly realize just what the phrase "Losing your Mind" means.

My friend's grandparents died because of Alzheimer's and she can tell you that it was the most painful thing in the world for her to hear out of their mouths, "But, what are you doing dear? I don't know you." She was well aware of what Alzheimer's can do to a person and was at an age to understand that such things happen in life and she could comfort herself about it; but I feel for Dami and Solmi, who like other children, wouldn't know how to handle not being recognized by their father or mother. Because Jangsoo has dementia as well as Alzheimer's, I think he should be kept away from the kids. As much as they help him be himself, he'll never be the same man that he was and could only end up endangering all of them. The fire at the station is proof.. I wonder if Soyoung will turn to Junho anytime soon.
