Hey, I was just watching the rerun of last night's episode (11/2/06) and noticed a scene which didn't air which might enhance your understanding of the show, or not..... Anyway, if you recall, Jangsoo's wife's friend (from Wedding) handed her a package of Kleenex and told her to go for a Ferris Wheel ride to purge her emotions in privacy. Well, after the initial shot of her crying in the cabin, what we didn't see was the heated exchange between Jangsoo and his father-in-law. Basically, the father-in-law is telling him to save the marriage at any cost but Jangsoo feels that it would be best for all parties if he got out now and inflicted no further strife on the relationship. The father-in-law becomes livid, strikes Jangsoo and laments over having given his daughter to this clod. As a parting shot, the father-in-law exclaims that a man without family has no roots. The scene then changes back to another shot of the wife crying in the cabin of the ride, but then cuts to Jangsoo walking aimlessly down the street and seeing the family in the restaurant celebrating a child's birthday. The rest aired, in which Jangsoo has the encounter with his father's ghost and all the rest. I just thought this was a seemingly innocent scene which might have greater bearing further down the road.

Why o why would TV-station in America edit already edited K-drama .. That's ruining a good drama. How much of 1 hour episode do you see in America?

Thanks for the recap, CV. This kind of makes me angry because I don't really get a chance to set my VCR all ready to tape a rerun in the morning, as it were that I leave really early. It's disappointing to know that there's scenes missing from a show.
