We can't believe AOW only has 3 more episodes to go!
Is anyone up to watching the last episode together? As for where, there are a few good possibilities: Bobanet (it's now called time Coffee), the Korean Noodle House (right across the street from Bobanet/Time Coffee on Bryn Mawr), or Ban Po Jung, a good Korean restaraunt on Foster just west of Kimball. But if anyone has a good place in mind, please suggest it!
What do you think??

From what i heard here, Boba Net/Time Coffee had their TV removed, so we need a new choice... Anyone from up that way have an idea?

You're right, JP - Bobanet/Time Coffee no longer has a large screen TV, but they do have A TV and we could probably arrange something with them if it turned out a lot of people would like to go there. Ban Po Jung always has Channel 28 on and they have about a 30" screen and a large table directly in front of it, so logistically it's a good choice, but since it's a restaurant, everyone might have to order food (which is very good there). Schaumburg? If it turns out there are a lot of people who'd like to meet there, maybe, but Joanie and I would rather stay closer to home if possible. We do need to figure out the WHERE pretty soon.

Mooora?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the suburbs? NEVER!! I know this is kind of an unusual offer, but I bet I could get my church to let us use their video screen (6' X 8') and stereo sound. The only thing to note is that it would have to be alcohol-free. But we could bring in or order in any food we wanted. It's near Central and Diversey. We can seat over 150 if needed. (I am optimistic about how many AOW fans there are!) The good thing is that it would be free!

Sounds like a good option to me! --jp--

Old at 31??? Mooooora! I am 46. I must be really old! Anyway, I have the auditorium reserved if you guys decide to take us up on the offer. 8:00 pm, October 18. I'll be there early. There are a couple of good pizza places and a good chinese place nearby that we could order from. I'll provide ice and plenty of soft-drinks - even some diet for those who can't handle the real stuff. The address is 5318 W. Diversey Avenue. Phone is 773-427-9300. Remember, it's free! If you decide something else, it's no problem.

Oh yeah, if anyone has a video of episode #1 or any other episodes you'd like to see, we could either meet earlier and watch it, or stay later. There is no time limit.
I didn't start watching until about episode 128 or so.

Well i guess i'm not going then. well, i don't think you can bring a 40 into a church. but if you guys are going to a cafe or a restuarant, then i don't think it will hurt if you order a drink for yourself.
