There are two forms. In the Male version, the wrestlers wear a belt, which their opponent must hold on to. In the Female version, as demostrated by Ok-geum and Hye-suk, you hold your opponents hair, instead

Seriously, Gramps and Pungu are right on this one. Okgeum is a little bit of a gangster. She runs around wearing bandanas and beating people up. She likes threatening individuals to get them to do what she wants..... Not good signs here, people.... I wish she would just talk it out like the mature adult she obviously isn't.

Wasn't that a headache-type bandana? I thought Hyesuk was so rude to tease her about it. (Are you starting a revolution? simper, sneer ) Sheesh. She knows that she's made trouble, she goes to their house to make Grandpa feel better and smooth things over. Well, Grandpa wasn't home, so does she turn around and leave, saying she'll come back another time? Noooo, she teases the person who is the most upset! Serves her right, the spoiled, snide troublemaking schemer.

I agree with everything you say, ginnycats. I can't stand Hyesuk, and even though Okgeum is acting like a child, I do feel for her. When she told the men that she was the one who took care of them for 30 years and Hyesuk has done nothing for them, I really felt the pain she was going through. Grandpa and Punggu have always treated her poorly, and taken her for granted. I would have kicked them both out of the house years earlier, but I know in Korean society she couldn't do that. I hope she goes on strike and stops cooking and doing their laundry.

I don't like Hyesuk or Okgeum very much. Both are pretty devious and mean-spirited and the men in that family are completely idiotic to continue making light of these seriously disturbed women. I wonder what Grandpa would say if he hadn't fallen for Hyesuk and his son came home wanting to sell the family mountain to pay some woman's ex-husband's debts. I think he'd hit the roof and rightly so. But obviously he's blind where Hyesuk is concerned. I did feel sorry for Okgeum when everyone took Hyesuk's side after she (Okgeum) had spent the last 30 years caring for them. She should go on strike or move out and see how they fare on their own. None of them seem to be able to cook or even wash their own underwear and I doubt midget sis could handle doing it all.

That was quite a scene yesterday between Pungu and the Ex! I couldn't stop laughing and the best part about the scene was that Gramps defended his son. Not just to show to Eomjiossa what a kind and loving man he is (rolls eyes) but also out of sincerity. It was sweet to see him coming to his son's aid although I must say that Pungu NEEDED all the help he could get. I thought for sure he would come out the victor, but sadly not....

Yes, today he was talking as tho he could've won, even. The other guy needs a whupping, that's for sure. I'm glad Eomji sent him packing. Wonder if Okgeum would've fed him. sheesh -what nerve he has.
Wonder who he was talking to - sounds like he has a plot going. Could be a girlfriend? He's in debt and wants money for a new project, I bet, rather than pay off the debts.

No, he was definitely talking to a guy. His tone was much more respectful and maybe even afraid than if he was talking to a girlfriend. Looks like he'll try and swindle Eomjiossa and well, from what it looks like after tonight's episode where she tenderly feeds Gramps, she might retreat to him for help.... Poor Pungu. Guess he's better off anyway.
