I was glad to see (in an episode that's soon to run in Chicago) that when Usuk finally gets to meet the doctor (Sinhyeong's brother, who just got out of the army) he tells her flat-out that there's nothing wrong with her face, and that he refuses to work on it!
I got a kick out of that. ???I was saying to myself that he's not going to be a very wealthy plastic surgeon by telling women that their faces are near perfect and refusing to do surgery. I'm not making fun of Usuk because she is attractive enough. I just figured that plastic surgeons just love to tweak facial characteristics for practice. What's even funnier is that Usuk thinks he's crazy for wanting to take her out on a date. She says "I want plastic surgery and you want to take me out. No thanks."
Quote from Soju: In spite of Mr. Koh and Ms. Bae's efforts to keep them apart, Pal-ja does end up with Pung-gu. At the end, it looks like Mr. Koh and Ms.Bae are getting pretty close, too.
I like happy endings, but Palja is scary. Earlier she was devoted, if sneaky, so maybe she can make Pungu happy once he lets her.... I don't know. At the beginning he should have stopped her from calling him Oppa - isn't that kind of familiar and possessive?

LOL - Ginny, I don't think Palja is any scarier than Brunhilda - I mean that other woman, you know, the one who is so great with a shovel! ;D It sounds as though this drama will end with a happy group of people, including us, the viewers!
Much better than MSMD with that truly strange ending. I still think she should have ended up with LCH - but maybe that's because he's my favorite male K actor - Lee Tae ran is my fave female -
Pure 19 has some good actors in it also - they are truly likable - they do their roles in a very competent way - so whoever they are to portray, they do it well. I am liking this show now that it's moving a bit faster - not so much angst with GW and YH and the "I'm sorry" scenario over and over.
