Tell that to Duduel. Just a guess: Gen. Kim Chirae will do some kick ass fighting against the Khitans before he dies very bravely or saves the day for Koryo (or both). right AW, a temporary brain lapse made me forget about duduel. he has more lives than a cat. i hope gen kim chirae does indeed get a chance to show his skills and bravery. i like him so much.

Who the hell were the khitans anyway? If someone have any ideas please share CCH, YOU IDIOT!!! Instead of trying to protect the country, he's still thinking on preserving his power. And who fault is it? That Jausoon or however you spell her name. Someone murder that women ASAP. In other news, is it me or didn't the empress of myung-jong son looked a lot like the empress dowager? The khitans are nomads that have lived in Modern Russia and Manchuria. They use to have a dynasty and was brought down by the Juchens, who later founded the Chin Dynasty. Now they joined forces with the Mongols.

actually, the reason that the khitans are invading koryo is because they were driven away by the over-powering mongols. they are nomads, so they seek a new place to live. and like the vikings, they have to kill everyone that lives there before they can settle down. my ancestors come from mongolia {supposedly, my ancestor was a russian farm girl raped by a mongol warrior. well, thats what my family says} the khitans were once a great power {they also hated koreans, because when they sent envoys to make peace with emperor taejo, he starved their camels, and murdered the envoys. as seen in dawn of the empire, they were ready to destroy koryo with an army over one million strong. thats more than what most countries have in their entire military. of course, by the time the time aow takes place, the mongols are perhaps the most powerful force in the eastern world. the khitans number some twenty or thirty thousand. which is considerably less than the one million plus that they had 150 years earlier.}

What is this got to do with history? I know one thing about the Mongols is after they conquered the Arab world, they became subjected to Islam like it their own religion now. The Mongols aren't like terrorists; they're conquerers. The Russians today were drinking all kinds of liquor thanks to the Mongols.

The scenes with the Khitans at the gate of the imperial city remind me of (yet another movie reference) "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" when King Arthur and his knights went to the French castle, except the roles are reversed. Well if you've seen "Holy Grail" I think you know what I mean.

That's right, I was thinking that when the army was storming the other fortress too. "Go and boil your bottoms, sons of a window dresser! I unclog my nose in your general direction! Your mother was a hamster, and your father smelled of elderberries". ID, ID, ID. (my mother told me those words on her deathbed) I must warn you too much Rush and Hannity will destroy brain cells. It is possible for people to doubt the wisdom of the war, as concerned Americans funnel large sums of borrowed money and send our people to be put at risk for a cause of little benefit to the people living in this country. I am sure that there are people who feel that anyone who questions policy is anti-American. This was also the case during the Vietnam War. The terrorists must be dealt with specifically, but it is not realistic to blow our revenues and tie down our military trying to dominate every two bit country we don't care for. Now, let's put this discussion aside and get back to the show.

I'm sorry for bringing this off-topic, but why do we mention terrorists like their some unknown foreign force seek to destroy the earth? Terrorists are everyday people all over the world not some country we can identify and eliminate it. Instead of thinking that killing a bunch of terroists will completely save the world form terror, we should be more focused on WHY they are acting that way. Terrorists acts are gruesome,yes, but there also a method of getting worldwide attention on things that otherwise would be looked over. Before 9/11, nobody cared at all politics,Osama, and what was developing over there, now all of a sudden, everyone thinks there some worldwide analyst when some never set foot outside their own state.
just my two cents.

I agree with you Skinz. But, we can at least get rid of those that fund, and aid terror. {Nope, Iraq isn't one of them.} I am talking about France {you should know of their "deals" with the arab world by now}. I'm talkign about Iran. I'm talking about Yasser Arafat. AN di'm tlaking about the distributers of Carona Beer. Like poison it tastes! I'm telling you. Corona Extra is really a deadly poison, which will wipe out the american popualtion. Now, I am a smart one, with my delicious ice-cold "Sam Adams Boston Lager" waiting to see what develops.

I know that "Scarface" is a favorite of yours, but you should check out "Dr. Strangelove", wherein a character is similarly concerned about the Russians tampering with his "precious bodily fluids".

Since, this post has diverged waaaaay off topic, don't get me started on beer (as a brewer myself, I'm on solid ground here). Corona success is due brilliant marketing strategy (of wretched beer), the kind that would make the best strategists proud. Corona was designed as a very cheap beer for blue collar workers in Mexico until some genius found that by marketing toward yuppies in the U.S. they could make much more money. Corona is very cheaply produced lager no better than your average Budmillercoors etc, but thanks to its marketing and the millions of fools that have bought into it, it commands a premium product price. Now, SA Boston Lager is a high quality beverage--even if that company's marketing has it's seedy side as well--it is a respectable Pilsner. As a West Coaster, however, I'll have to champion our West Coast brewing tradition and place my hand around a bottle of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, or Anderson Valley Hop Ottin IPA, or many of our other superb (and often extreme) hoppy brews. The one world-renowned beer style that has come exclusively from this country is the "West Coast Pale Ale/IPA" (other regional/national styles are either imitations (sometimes good ones) or watered down and lower quality versions of styles found across the Atlantic). We don't imitate here, we innovate.

I'm so out of the loop I had no idea Corona had gotten so "big" until our last office Christmas party.
We live in an age of obsessive conformity.
p.s.
The yeast I can do is thank Maali for his explanation of the current beer situation. I am still hopful that things will change for the better.
