Well, I would have liked more pretty pictures, considering how long we've waited and how good all the cast looked dressed formally. The death of Seolchill's mother was dealt with rather heavy handed, but either as foreboding or red herring to tomorrow's eppy I suppose.
I wonder what the big revelation will be? It can't be all that terrible, or Hanam's mother wouldn't have allowed them to be married ...

Could they be stepbrother and stepsister?

Well at least that would explain more about the step fixation of the show.

Boooo ... It was a non-revelation. I don't like it much when there is a revelation only to a character and not to the audience. But I guess it works if you've missed an eppy or two. A more touching episode tonight.
I have to wonder what's going to happen with Deokchill. She keeps making such bad choices in dealing with various peoples.

I can't believe Hanam's mother called them on their honeymoon night to tell them her birth mother had died. It could have waited until morning!! If they weren't going to tell Seolchill that the woman was dying, why ruin her wedding night when there's nothing she can do?

If they weren't going to tell Seolchill that the woman was dying, why ruin her wedding night when there's nothing she can do? Seriously! And Hanam tells her to just trust him and follow him. It's not just his honeymoon, it's HERS too. They could've just had one day together before going back home.

Seochil's wedding dress surprised me, an outdoor winter wedding and she's wearing a strapless gown that I was afraid would slip off (when she was getting out of her decorated jeep, especially). She's so practical and no nonsense the rest of the time, it seemed odd that she was freezing; she even took off the lightweight jacket she wore at first. How about a rabbit-fur capelet or lacy wooly shawl? Or quilted white silk? Brrr.

Then when they finally were having their first night, Grandma kept saying Be quiet! She didn't seem amused and teasing when she said it, either. Oh, well, it can't be easy or it won't be a drama.

I think the reason Hanan's mother called was so Soelchill could be there for the funeral etc since we do see her and who I assume to be her half-brother and sister, when SChill is spreading the ashes. It was sad but I think it helped SChill to be at ease in her mind about her birth mother. She may have had guilt feelings after learning that her birth mother was one of the reasons, if not the main reason, for Hanam's mother's approval of the marriage. It's for that overused word "closure". I think that is the reason Hanam didn't tell her before they got back ... as to the funeral itself, either I missed that scene or they didn't show it because it went from them being in the car and driving to the scene at the grave site. But I DID see that [glow=red,2,300]famous underwear scene [/glow]LOL

I liked the jacket over the dress. It was so her and it looked classy too.
