It really seemed like they were trying to make Tteng-chill less cartoonish and more three-dimensional lately, but who knows if there will be room to continue that what with all the revelations.
Seochill really is great, she's definitely the most fun to watch. Second I really like Deok-chill, As stupid as some of her actions are, she seems to accept that she's flawed and that her life can never really be the same again. As opposed to Mi-chill who thinks she can run rampant without any personal responsibility.
I really really wish they had put some humanity in Michill but they didn't and she just appears to get worse and worse in personality and behavior.

I think Michill is actually dangerously unstable, and she has no perspective on Seolchill. I can only imagine with horror the idea of sharing a room with her. I'd be afraid each night that I'd wake up in the dark with a knife flashing through the air toward me. Scree-scree-scree! (Psycho sound effects.)

Seol-chill is my favorite. She's nice , smart and very lovely. I just would like to see her with her hair down sometimes Also I like Michill, I didn't watch the tv series from the begining, and I don't know how mean she was to Seol-chill or everyone esle, but I like the fact that she does what she wants, and that she can stand for herlself. For me she's not such a bad person, when you think about the fact that her father's favorite daughter was "not" his true daughter, and that they keep comparing her with Seol-chill, is very frustrating and no matter how much you love your sister, even if she was your blood sister, at some point you're just gonna empty all of your anger by making other people's life miserable. Anyway that's just my opinion.

My fav is Michill. Her character is changing and growing. Yeah, she's immature but at that age as sheltered and controlled as she was, who wouldn't be. Also, consider she coud have continued her life as an escort but she chose to be conventional. Seochill gives me a pain! She is so unbelievably long suffering and self - sacrificing. She needs to get a spine. I can't stand women who lie at your feet and then complain because they get stepped on and seochill and Deokchill are definately in that category.

As of now, none of the above.
Doekchill is a doormat, her second "husband" is worse than her first.
Seolchill (who says she detests liars) is a liar, but who isn't on this show?
Michill… is ME-chill, enough said,
Ttengchill is a dufus, but the only one I have any sympathy for lately. She so sad, but trying her best to make her situation work.
It's becoming more clear as to why they're all referred to as "Infamous".

I agree with zorro, though I don't think Seolchill is a liar per se. The kind of thing she does is so common on K-dramas--someone sacrificing themselves by telling people stories that aren't true. She's only doing it to hurt herself and save others. To me calling someone a liar is meant to blame them for being dishonest (to make things better for themselves, for example), but what Seolchill's doing is just stupid. She's not meaning to gain any advantage but rather to martyr herself in order to make things easier for other people. I think she's an idiot for doing it, and she's doing more harm than good, but that's the way these dramas go. There always has to be some woman taking the blame for everything and letting other people get away with treating her like crap. Having said that, I'm sick of the lot of them. I think Hanam should just go find himself some nice woman who fulfills all his mother's conditions, and then cut off relations with his mother anyway, just to spite her. And then go live happily with his new wife.

Lucy, as per your definition, I don't think Soelchill is an "actual" liar, but I take her to task because she told Hanam that she detested his "lying" (which was only by omission) and then the very same evening, goes home and tells her parents that the wedding has to be postponed because Hanam's parents are "sick". Very self righteous. And on and on it goes. I chalk it up to her being devastated by Hanam's Mom, but it was still getting on my nerves. You're right, she's not the only one. Almost every character on these dramas fibs constantly in the aim of sparing the other person's feelings. And that would be fine if they didn't make such a big deal about "Honor" at the same time. And if anyone disagrees with me, "it's all my fault…"

I personally cannot abide liars. Seolchill has sort of evaded direct lies by answering in a devious way. But to me, it seems that NO ONE ever comes out and tells the truth -- how can people live that way, always evading saying the truth? I think that's what i love about YG/the "kid sister" of Yun hu - she just blurts out the truth and everyone else is always trying to shut her up! LOL -- It's actually refreshing to see someone tell the truth on these shows - it's such a rarity! Is this a real way people are in Korea? It sure seems absurd to me. I'd rather have someone say to me that they cannot tell me anything because it's a secret and they promised not to tell so they won't. End of it then - to me that would be a better way to handle it than lying. But, again, JMO ;D

Yes, soapygrams-and they should know better than to promise not to tell, just because someone asks them to promise. They could hedge and say, "Well, I won't bring it into the open myself, but if anyone asks, I will not lie. So there! [sticks out tongue]" (Well, probably not the last bit.) Why should it be upon the shoulders of the wronged person to come up with a plausible story-What would Miss Manners say about this? ;D Just stay silent and don't look down, meet their eyes-let the presumptuous person have to fill the silence. The idea that 28-year-old Seolchil, a captain in the army, has to obey Hanam's mother and hurt Hanam...grrr. Take a lesson from Michil. ;D
