Sorry, I'm really bad with names but I just have to make a comment on the oldest sister (the one that's married with children). I don't condone extra-marital affairs but I can certainly understand why she was tempted. Her husband is a cold, overbearing jerk that treats her more like a servant than his wife. But, for me there is absolutely NO excuse good enough for her leaving her two young children home alone, whether they are sick, well, or sleeping, etc. If that guy she's having an affair with really likes her, he would not be so selfish and would think about her feelings and her situation. Obviously he's thinking with another part of his anatomy (not his brain ) and seems to be as spoiled as her husband, just in a different way. Regardless, she's a mother and she should know her responsibilities. I apologize for the rant. It just steams me when people leave their kids alone. Anything could happen. There's always another alternative if you look hard enough.

I wish she had some love in her life, too, but she's got the wrong end of the stick. (Still, I have to mention that his drunken kiss was the steamiest thing I've seen on Korean TV--though, admittedly, "relative steaminess" is not too hard to achieve in this fairly chaste drama land.) I don't trust him, either. At first he said, "All I want is to be your oasis. All I want is to see you smile." But it escalated pretty quickly into encouraging her to lie to her husband and forget about the kids! I don't know what the answer is for her. I sure wouldn't want to be married to Fishface.

You should watch MBC's Over The Rainbow. The kissing scenes between HwanHee (FTTS) and Kim Ok Bin aren't your typical cold K-Drama kisses. It's more like "would you like some tongue with that?".

I found that kissing scene to be VERY unpleasant, I actually cringed when it happened...this guy that she's having the affair with is just down right annoying now, encouraging her to leave her kids alone at home just to be with him is downright selfish and she's also to blame too, I understand that she was forced to marry Jerk A and now she's having a grand old time with Jerk B, but leaving her kids alone is unforgiveable.

Seems like the older sister is everybody's confidant.
I felt bad for her when in one of the earlier episodes, you can tell she's having such an internal battle with herself. She wants to give herself the luxury of enjoying the attention of that one guy gives her, but she also wants to be true to her husband. I can't believe he pushed her away too, he should be grateful since she's pretty. Lucy is right, he really does have a fish-face.

Famous Quotes from Lucy: I sure wouldn't want to be married to Fishface. LOL! Fish? like maybe perhaps a LOACH? I'll bet he makes really funny sounds when you touch him. Imagine if he was the lead actor in Winter Sonata. How charming would THAT have been?

luvsterriers you're right. He was the love interest for the sister (of the 4 brothers) in Farewell to Tears. He wasn't a jerk in that drama though he certainly is in this one.

Kathleen34, you just gave me the best laugh of the day. Fish face is the perfect name for him. I have seen him in other dramas, he stands out because he is not attractive at all.

It's striking to compare his treatment of his wife to how good he is with their kids.

Soju I agree completely. He treats his wife more like the maid.

I keep wondering about how the boyfriend has so much time during the day. Doesn't he have a job to go to?

Lol, gpaul. Yeah, he has like all the free in the time in the world. Or is it that he makes the time? hmm I can't believe the actor's moved up in the industry like that. He's always some extra or something.

He should do a Carol Burnett-type spoof of Winter Sonata, maybe with Na Moon-Hee (Obnoxious Grandma here and in Rosy Life) in the Choi Ji-woo role. Imagine the two of them romping in the snow wearing scarves.
