When Day was playing 21, at the end of the card game, when he put all his chips in. Did the dealer say to Day in English," are you sure." He replied "why not." It did sound like English, but I wasn't sure!

yep, they were talking in English. I can't believe Day is going to go out there gambling, trying to make money for Eunhye. Why would Eunhye say that money is what she loves more? Can she realize that though she doesn't have alot of money now, she has found happiness? Like she said she has a home and people there that care about her, a job, friends, what more does she want? And is she falling for Day? It seems like everytime she mentions Day or expresses any concern over him Dr. Park gets upset. I kinda feel sorry for Dr. Park now. He cares about Eunhye, but doesn't know how to express himself and show his emotions. They don't even act like boyfriend and girlfriend.

I feel sorry for Dr. Park also. It was touching when he saw his mom and started to cry. I think that Eunhye is in love with both of them, they each give her something different. Day makes her laugh and will do anything for her. He loves her unconditionally. Dr. Park is the one who makes her heart flutter, yet at this point he is emotionally incapable of giving her the love that she so desires. Day looked so handsome while playing cards, he made my heart flutter a bit. He is doing for her the one thing that he can, give her financial stability. Although she is happy in her life, as long as the debt hangs over her she will never have real freedom to be happy.

It seems like everybody in this drama is having problems with their love life. Look at the lady doctor (what the heck is her name?). She was rejected by Pilgoo. She must've felt horrible when he just walked out. I don't understand why he didn't want to be with her before if he did like her? I wonder if he is starting to fall in love with Dr. Park's mom. Pilgoo is such a quiet man, I have a hard time reading him. He is very nice, respectable and caring of others, but I cannot tell who he likes.
And what about Minjoo? The poor girl has to dump Padlock or else her mom will fire him. So there is Minjoo pouring out her heart to her mother, telling her she's never felt special, and her mom is not even listening. I wonder if her mom is so cold because of things she's been through, like being a single mother and being rejected by the only man that she's loved (Pilgoo.) I really do hope that Minjoo and Padlock are able to work things out.
Then there's the love triangle between Eunhye, Dr. Park and Day. So who does Eunhye really love? Sometimes I feel like she cares for Day as a brother/best friend. On the other hand she was more into Dr. Park when they weren't dating. Now that they are suppose to be dating they rarely talk. That is weird.

Alexa, I agreed you.... That what I said to my little sister... Dr Park loves Eunhye, but he has never been love by someone, and don't know how to show his feelings, don't know how to react with her..... Day wants the best things for Eunhye and he knows that she's in love with Dongjae, and all the things he wants for her, it's to see her happy... I thing Pilgoo don't reject really Mrs Ko, but he don't have feelings for her, for him, she's only like a friend... I was sad when Day decided to leave his life in Mr Pyo's hands for rent 1000 $.... :

It's almost as if the Writer is trying to emphasize that those who come from different backgrounds from eachother are incapable of existing harmoniously together.
Take the hospital owner, she loved a poor man, but was unwilling to accept him as he is and decides to let him go because of it. Then Minjoo, she is also the rich girl who falls in love with a poor man but has to give him up because of their different backgrounds. Then Eunhye and Dr. Park. She's the ex-convict who owes over 300,000 won to a loan shark. She can't be with Dr. Park according to others because "he's too good" for her.
But the writer just doesn't leave these less rich folks all alone. He or she provides them with more compatible people based on their status.
Pilgoo gets Park's mom chasing after him because their relationship, according to the writer, just might work. He is looking for a woman who can accept him working even as a janitor and Park's mom doesn't seem to care what he does for a living. She sees that he's a smart, nice guy and likes him for it. In the hospital owner's eyes, Padlock isn't much of a match for her daughter as Dr. Park is because of their class level. And Eunhye gets Haru, who to those who don't know him, is just a dumb fool.
But I love each and every single character on this show. Even the hospital owner because she's just a prisoner of her own pride and when she lets go of it, it might be too late. You really can't hate any one character on this show and that's what I like about it. When you can't point out that one character is just plain evil, you know that there can never be any winners or losers, just people who will get what they deserve.

I just hope that Pilgoo doesn't fall for Mrs. Ko's wiles. I do not like that lady. Pilgoo deserves someone more fun and kind; glamorous would be nice, but not the hospital owner. They seem to be trying to portray him as a bit of a loser, but I think he's totally out of Ko's league.

Thank you, sushimi! You never know with these Korean dramas. Sometimes the most unlikely things happen in them, and the viewers are expected to believe them. I think Pilgoo needs more intellectual stimulation than Mrs. Ko can provide; even though he is working as a janitor (physical labor), he uses his time to think deeply about things.

Forigive me if this sounds a bit cruel, but the way that they were showing his right hand on the table, I kept thinking that he was going to start convulsing and get more cards that he had intended. This could have ended in one of two situations: the first would have had him receiving too many cards and going bust, or the other would have had him receive the winning card and clean out the bank..... perhaps I watch too many sitcoms (or at least have in my life, I really don't watch much else besides channel 41).

I watched Day in a drama for the first time this week since "Hello God". The story is "Bad Couple". and he plays about the second or third male lead. It's a pretty good story, with a lot of familiar faces.
