What an awesome episode that we just saw here in Hawaii. Ui-Bang's Muby get his body and cremate's him and his wife and others dont know where the body is. A strong character begins to emerge in the character (forgot the name) that walked into Ui-Bang's estate and tried to kill him. TAKE NOTE OF THIS FELLOW!! I believe he will ultimately end up killing everyone in the name of cleaning up the court, including Ui-Bang's murderer and father. In the meantime Ui'Bang's murderer is getting no respect at all. His true nature is revealed in this amazing episode as a lowly, scum ignoble being who is only out for himself. He declares he has never had any love for the Dowager's sister in front of the Dowager and her sister. One scene shows him running out of the door gasping for breathe as apparently he could not take his own lies.

I agree with you about the emegence of a new strong character as per one of my recent posts; he's chief of security. One would have to have another strong leader in order to fill the void created by the absence of Sir Yi. That he's in a pivotal role has been foreshadowed in the words by the Master Monk----"now there's someone who can bring light out of darkness" as this new character is carrying an orphaned child in his arms following the slaughter of innocent villagers. The commentator also said that he was destined to put an end to the military rulers in future! I like this warrior and particularly when General Kyun, the Superior General's son tried to form an alliance with him and he told the general: I'll forget this conversation ever happened; and your cause is "not righteous." Kyun banged his fist on the table. In a later episode when his mistress asked if was trying to kill Sir Yi he lied to her. It would appear that this general's vices help to draw attention and provide tension to those other warrior who try to live out of principle. Human nature is very complex and it's easy to prejudge those characters who lie or cheat but this is part of the struggle for power. Once someone asked Sir Yi if he was concerned that someone on the military coucil would try to upstage him and Sir Yi nonchalantly but accurately stated something to the effect, "what do you expect in politics?" I have not weighed in on General Kyun yet. He certainly is clever and he did suceed in killing Sir Yi. He's capable of disobeying his father and of lying but other warriors of his time may have seen these as manly qualities so to speak. The man I continue to watch is the Archfiend. He must find his own voice. He will either behave honorabaly or go the way of Sir Yi and self-destruct from his own egomania. The Master Monk approached him and sees some potential greatness in him. It's to be seen if he becomes involved a battle against the Viceroy of West Capital and what the outcome will be. As far as the Superior General goes, I view him as a snake and hope he gets it good one day! Perhaps he will redeem himself. Sir Yi did not so, I am not optimistic but who knows what the future hold for this snake. It's understandable that some here would think less highly of General Kyun for bringing down the popular Sir Yi. I give him credit that he suceeded where others had failed. I, too, shall miss Sir Yi and had hoped that he could have lived out his remaining life in the country but clearly the writer wanted all of us to know that what one sows one ultimately reaps. It was a long and painfully draged out death scene but the mighty must fall. Sir Yi before his death cries out and declares he's a merit subject and cannot "be destroyed" but he's allowed after a valient and heroic fight to bleed to death rather than get shot through with arrows. He died alone. I praise those who gave their lives in hopes that he could escape and applaud their loyalty and sacrifice. Sir Yi was a true warrior but such is the nature of power that when he was no longer useful he was abandoned even by the Emperor and General Cho. His betrayal was truly dispicable. Perhaps his death will be avenged. The drama continues..... Thanks to all fellow fans for their comments.TEXT ;D

UI Bang from an entertainment standpoint was my favorite character on the show, from a political standpoint he should've stopped the violence before the "Master Monk" asked him to. Everyone on or familliar with the show obviously realises chung kyun screwwed up big time. General Cho is more or less incompetant outside of combat, and he's not fooling anyone into believing otherwise. so it will be up to Yi Ui Min to avenge Sir Yi (and muby if she shows up again). I liked how he missed Cung Jung Bu speech about "No more bloodshed until west capitol is under control (which was the same thing everyone agreed to under Sir Yi in the first place)" and moments later walks into the room and buries his axe in the central committees table. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm going to really miss Yi Ui Bangs pressence on the show.

That's probably my favorite episode to date and the best single hour of TV I've ever seen. It is truly some powerful stuff. Muby is truly moving in that episode and the Empress Dowager is huge when she reduces Kyun to a sniveling wreck. I also liked the earlier episode (two before, I recall) when the Chief Convoy, Kyung Dae Sung is first introduced with Master Duell saying "now there is a man to bring light to the darkness". That is one of the best introductions of a character I've ever seen.
