So, apparently he was adopted; now we know why Nara sponsors the orphanage. If ever there was a reason to break out the cello, this would be it.

But then again, Ki-woong's mother looked sad when she said, "What good is a parent who only gives birth?" or something to that effect.
Is there a chance that Sukhyun is also her son, but that she gave him to the orphanage? I don't see how that could be, but you never know.
Is this supposed to be the same orphanage Jongnam grew up in, by the way?

Ya know, actually, Teresa made some speculation way back when about the possibility that Kiwoong's mom had given a child to Nara at grandmother's behest due to Nara'a inability to conceive. Yes, I think it's the same orphanage Jongnam resided, but I realized they wouldn't have crossed paths due to Sukhyun being adopted so early (although he may not have actually spent time there if he's Kiwoong's brother.) That also killed the idea that perhaps she and Sukhyun are of the same parents.

What I don't understand is why someone asked if Jong-nam has looked for her parents. I thought they were dead, in a car crash?

I don't know if JN's parents are dead or not. But she did say in like the first episode that her older brother was dead.

That was Minwoo they were referring to Lovely. And it was not the "older brother" interpretation of the word, but the "boyfriend" translation.

Did Jongnam used to date Minwoo? Did Jongnam's ex-roommate? Remember when Jong-nam lived in the restaurant? Didn't Jong-nam's roomate kick her out so some guy could move in??? Who was that guy

As I understand it, Min-woo and Jong-nam were very close friends, but not romantically involved (although perhaps headed there). Jong-nam's ex-roomate is Hye-yoeng. Her boyfriend has never been shown. She has told Jang-nam that their relationship has its ups and downs, but it is generally solid. I wonder why Hye-yoeng has a picture on KBS's cast page, although we almost never see her, while Myoeng-ja (Ok-doo's cafe partner), who we see all the time, does not.
