We have been seeing a commercial for months that features a couple (possibly a real-life celebrity couple), and I just figured out that the husband is Sukhyun's father! It's for some kind of hot beverage, which seems like "antler tea" to me, and in the beginning the man is rehearsing his lines, and then the wife makes him something hot to drink. It looks like the ad was made a couple of years ago, because he seems a little younger in this.

Isn't Jang-geum shown, too, probably as just the life-size cut-out or a still photo (in costume, too), rather than on film?

On KBS's site, the VOD for the most recent show has one or two commercials preceding the actual show. Currently, there is one fore Iope cometics, starring Lee Young-ae. Boy, she is so beautiful!

I visited that store last week. It's in a shopping center that has a lot of international stores, on Golf between Milwaukee Ave. and the Tollway. I think the the shopping center is called 'Golf Glen'.
The Ginseng store is tucked away in the corner -- it's easy to miss. As you walk in is where they sell the Ginseng. As you would expect, it's expensive.
Adjacent to that is a larger area where they sell housewares and appliances, the kind of stuff they sell on the Pago Pago home shopping show.

Yesterday I went to Niles at Milwaukee and Golf, and they had knocked down my favorite store. I think it's called Daeho or Daehon. Did they move west on Golf? (I hope.) The groceries at the western end of the mall are still there, one has Greek, Polish, Spanish and other ethnic foods, and the other is Korean, mostly. I bought some dried pollack, that's supposed to be so healthy.
