This guy is looking like a jerk again. His wife is putting on lipstick, so he slams on the brakes and the lipstick goes all over her cheek. He smiles at his cleverness. Sheesh. Is he 9 years old? How can she repair that in the car? Cold cream to remove the lipstick, reapply foundation and powder, and blush, reapply lipstick. Hit him over the head with his precious wine bottle.

Oh, come on that was funny ;D At least he didn't make her go to the party with the recycling bin on her head or a sign saying "I will not eat jewelry" around her neck...

This guy is a real control freak. Every time he orders his wife around, I just want to scream! I missed some of the episodes, but how is it that he stays home when his wife doesn't seem to work? Is he independently wealthy? Or does he depend on the income from his silly sister-in-law and his daughter to make ends meet? Please clue me in on this.

I didn't think it was funny, either. It comes from a cruel impulse to humiliate, even though it might look amusing.

Sometimes they show him coming home from work, but I don't remember any details. Bet he's better behaved at work, tho.

There was this one scene where Yoojung calls him to talk about HI and the wedding and he just hangs up on her. It's so disgusting the way he treats her. I don't think he's capable of showing affection to people he doesn't "approve" of.

LOL, Ducky! Maybe the kimchi he ate had too much red pepper in it and he's feeling the aftermath of his glutony! And he always does that annoying clearing of the throat thing.

I just wonder if Byung-do has some interest in his silly sister-in-law. He's so obsessed with that white sweater she was knitting, thinking that it was for him, even searching her room for it. He was really upset that his SIL wasn't making it for him, but for a Mr. Kim.
Of course, if his silly SIL brings home Mr.Kim, he'll come to realize that Mr. Kim is the father of the son who's supposed to marry his daughter Haein.

Wow, how synchronous that I should look at this thread for the first time (at least I don't remember being here before, but it's all beginning to melt into one long posting), but didn't I see Okdoo explaining to someone tonight that Byung-do is her older brother, not in-law? She made some comment about how he takes care of her like a father, so she'll have to knit him a vest after all. I might be wrong, but I could swear that's what I heard. If I make it up in time to watch the rerun, I'll let ya know what I hear. It's true, it's true, sports fans! They are siblings! She was explaining this to Sukhyun's dad as she was attempting to set up a meeting between the two men. By the way, I am constantly amused by the shamelessly typical visual imagery in this show, such as the fireworks at the amusement park (I thought the final shot as Jongnam and Sukhyu face each other, fireworks seemingly emanating from their very beings and the vertical shot in between them) but just as Jongnam is pining for Sukhyun and remembering the events of the previous evening, she goes to the freezer to get some ice, and of course, she chews it! Gotta love it! ;D

Yes, I'm pretty sure Ok-doo is Byung-doo's sister. Look, they even have the same syllable in their names. (I'm learning tidbits anyway, if not much actual Korean language )

And he's wearing a suit! How did you find that picture, Soju? Is he is character or being himself?
