LOL, she's not THAT bad. The actress who plays her is very sophisticated and pretty. So, I kind of see why cy would think she is *ahem, shudders* sexy. But, Ducky, you've captured her sexiness oh so well!

My wife and I watch BB on a channel here in Philadelphia and I am not ashamed to say that I love this show! And, I love to hate Nara. Last week, I was apparently looking all starry-eyed and my wife asked me what I was thinking about. I replied with, "I really hate Nara." I agree that the actress that plays her is pretty, etc., and I find it interesting how happy she seems in the introduction to the show. Maybe that's her real personality. Anyway, she's the #1 person that I would like to knock over in the break-room of Well-Being Shopping! Eat some linoleum, Nara! ;D

Harrison, you're hilarious. I would encourage anyone who gets starry-eyed with hatred of a K-drama character to register here as a full member. On another thread, we were talking about the credits and how oddly friendly Mr. and Mrs. Nara were, and someone (Soapy?) said it was like they were talking to customers: "Welcome! Thank you for coming to Wellbeing Home Shopping! Please buy much and visit often!" And then it made sense to me.

That's what I always took the opening credits to mean. The Grandmother is going: "b/moya?" (what?) because she's always so clueless. Poor Granny. But, what I don't understand is why they have Yoojung being all haughty. She's the funniest character, besides her husband, on that show! Byungdoo all tough and mean, that I can Understand, but not Yoojung.

That was really mean of her the way she treated Min-sook. Especially when she told MS that if MS decided to leave the soup there, NR would throw it out.

Funny, though, the timing of how *now* she's being suspicious of Minsook's motives in bringing over soup, even though she has no idea that Sukhyun has found out he's adopted. Was she always this jealous over the past 28 years of SH's life? I kinda doubt it. I can believe that, if SH is really Minsook's bio son, it has been festering in Nara from the beginning that she is so profoundly beholden to the "inferior" MS--a good reason why she's so mean and haughty. But she really got bent out of shape and was over-the-top mean about the soup. Why now?

Nara's so twisted. "Do you want Hae-in to be married frowning?" She must be kidding! Hae-in wouldn't show up-she'd take a sudden trip out of town.
Nara was interfering with SH at KW's house when she insisted that he go with her to see her relatives instead of staying with his father, but maybe that was partly because Jong-nam was there. And she called him back home that day when he gave Dajeong a ride to her exam, and he left Min-sook to walk home in the cold. (I forgot, was there something specific she didn't want Min-sook to tell him?)
I hope Suk-hyun finds out soon what a miserable creature she is, altho some of it is obvious already.

I forgot about those, Ginnycat. I think her behavior on the occasion of whisking SH off to see her relatives had to do with Jongnam, not only that JN was there, but that she was getting upset by the fact that SH won't shoot down JN unfairly no matter how much Nara orders him to. So she has to assert her ownership of him, and he goes along with it because he wants to placate her as far as he can w/o punishing Jongnam.
The day he gave Aunt Minsook a ride, Nara was being jealous, though I think she called to pretend she was in a lot of pain before she knew he was with Minsook. I don't think SH told her until later that he was giving MS a ride, though I could be mistaken. At least I remember that there seemd to be no specific motive beyond making Her Son treat her as his precious mommy deserves.

As I remember it, Nara wanted to prevent Min-sook from being with Suk-hyun. She asked him something about Min-sook after he got home, and he said, yes, aunt invited me for some soup because the weather is so cold, so Nara was feeling justified that she had avoided (whatever it was). Nara may not have known MS was in the car, but she knew he'd be at her house because of Dajaeng.

I am new to this website. I think it's cool to watch and enjoy Korean dramas. They air on WYBE here in Philadelphia, PA. The Bizzare Bunch is on the 94th or 95th episode right now.
I am not Korean and I don't speak the language, but I really enjoy the stories. I love learning about the way other people live and how we are alike in many ways.

I also really hate Nara! I think Jeaman (I think I spelled that right) better stop before he gets caught. I know he's lonley being with someone like Nara but there's no need to fool around. Just leave her for goodness sake!!! LOL And why doesn't she just give him his paycheck back?

She is so, SO horrible! Every time she does something mean and crummy to Jongnam, she tells her not to tell anyone about it. She's making her quit, and JN's supposed to make up some excuse that doesn't implicate Nara. What a Bee-Eye-Tee-See-Aitch! "I don't love my husband, but he's good-looking and he has a job" (or whatever) was a great thing for her to say. Does she get any pleasure out of life? All she does is snap at others, order them around, and roll her eyes.

I think Nara needs a liet motif (a musical theme that's played whenever she appears onscreen). Unfortunately, the one for the wicked witch of the West has been used, but it may be in public domain by now, so when she's speeding in her car on the way down to the studio to ball out Jongnam or some other evil deed, it may help if we all sing to ourselves, "Doot di doot di doo doo, doot di doot di doo..... (repeat for the duration of the scene)
