Hi, seaoftears! About the spelling of his name, there are various ways of transliterating Korean, some of them rather casual. There is an official transliteration system endorsed by the government, but you'll see a lot of variation, and it's not really wrong to spell things one way or the other. Go Juwon could also be Ko Juwon, for example. If you watch "Hello God," the main actor's name is given in the credits as U Gun, which looks like a Burmese name, of all things (like the one-time UN secretary-general U Thant). But it's actually Yoo Gun. I guess whoever did the titles decided that the letter U best represented the Korean "yoo" sound, but I'd never seen it done like that before. Anyway, I hope that was at least vaguely interesting. Welcome to the board, and be careful not to post any spoilers! I'm pretty sure you in NJ are ahead of us here in Chicago. We're at around episode 80 or so.

I read that U Gun's agent decided on that spelling.

That's funny. I don't like it, but it does get your attention. Maybe his agent is some kid who text-messages a lot. Hey, did you notice how good U Gun's English was? The sound on my tape of that episode was really, really, low, so I couldn't hear very well, but it sure sounded like he had a good accent! p.s. Sorry, I just realized that is off-topic for this board and belongs on the Hello, God board, but it's just a side comment so I'll leave it here, OK?

Lucy, I think it's maybe written U Gun is more easy to remember... and for his international carreer.... Yes, U Gun's english was good... hope to see him speaking more english words..... Go Joo Won is a cut actor, even if my favourite is U Gun....

Go Joo Won is very cute indeed. I noticed something interesting, though. A couple of episodes ago there were some tight closeups of Goo Goo, and he looked somehow different and not as little-boy cute. I finally realized what it was. The closeups showed only his face, not his hair and the rest of his head, and I noticed that he has a sort of big head which contributes to his cuteness and youthfulness. His face is cute, don't get me wrong, but it's not that different from other handsome Korean men's. The thick, spiky hair and big head help with that awkward and cute look he has. Oh, by the way! I finally saw him do the walk you guys were talking about. He was coming down the stairs at home and he was jerking his elbows and forearms around. It was funny! Is that what you meant?

:) 8-)About his on screen character he plays Chang Suhkyun, who has a thing for his cousin Kim Jongnam (Kim Ahjoong). He is the division manager of a company called Well-Being home shopping. He's alright. But in the show he acts like a BABY! (still he alright)
