kbctvusa posted this on the Generals board today: We will be broadcasting a new drama entitled "Knocked Out By Love" starting January 18th. This will take the spot vacated by the ending "Wedded Bliss". After some research we believe that this drama is called "A Love to Kill" in Korea. We are trying to confirm this right now but wanted to provide this news as early as possible. Note from Lucy: I guess this answers my question in the other thread about whether this drama is ending. But I'm happy to know what's coming next!

It stars Bi (or Rain) the music star. TAN viewers saw the first two episodes this week. Here's a link to KBS (may contain spoilers, but I've learned their synopsis isn't always accurate) Love to KillKorean Wiz (no spoilers, just cast list)

We have not been able to gain confirmation from the studio yet that "Knocked Out By Love" is indeed the same drama as "A Love to Kill".
We thought that we would have been able to confirm it by now and hope that we are not providing incorrect information. Next time around we will wait to have it confirmed before we make any announcement.
Thank you for your patience.

kbc, if you know the Korean title of the show, is it "I Jukilnomui Sarang"? That's what our wonderful source koreanwiz.org says is "A Love to Kill." Does that help? Or maybe they haven't told you even that much yet.

Because of the language barrier it is sometimes difficult for us to obtain information as well. As soon as we receive clarification (hopefully prior to the show airing) we will post it.

The studio just confirmed that our information was correct and that "Knocked Out By Love" is the same drama as "A Love to Kill".
We will also be providing downloads of this series at the same $1.99 price.

The show is also called "This Damned Love." I've been Waiting to see Bi in something. It's like all of Korea adores him and Bae Yong Jun.

A Love to Kill? I'm taking a pass on this one. KBC needs to start airing MBC dramas again. As far as Bi is concerned, he's just another singer who can't act but keeps getting by on his popularity. *cough* Eric *cough*

I've been wondering what the English title of this drama would be while watching the show. Because I couldn't make the direct translation 'love to kill' sound any better in English. I was thinking 'Miserable Love' but that didn't sound right either. 'The Damned Love' sounds more like it.

Is there any humor in it, or is it all tragedy and angst? I'm really appreciating Farewell to Tears nowadays.

I saw the first two episodes of “Knocked out by Love” last week, and I can’t say that I’ve been much impressed. Violent and pretty much incomprehensible, it’s as if they’re trying to recreate the borderline-psychotic-bad-boy-goes-good formula that worked so well in the drama “I’m Sorry, I Love You.”
So far, though, it hasn’t been able to deliver any of the weird quirkiness that made “I’m Sorry, I Love You” so fascinating. And, for me at least, Bi (who has apparently dumped the “Bi” name and is now going by his real name, Jeong Ji-hun) doesn’t have nearly the on-screen presence that So Ji-sup (“Moo-hyu”) had, nor does he have a co-star with the sweetness and gentle charisma of Im Soo-jung (“Eun-chae”).
But then, I didn’t care much for “I’m Sorry, I Love You” until about episode #3 (and, in the end, really wound up liking it) so I’m withholding judgment for right now.
