Yunsu is definitely a snake, but it seems lately that Jinhui is an anaconda! In Episode 14, what right did he have to 1.) try to convince Sena to divorce Seungu, 2.) spill the beans to Seungu about his 3-day fling with Sena, and 3.) advise Seungu that his priority should be Yunsu now, not Sena!!!!! WHO IS THIS GUY???!!! He is getting so sinister, and all with such a straight face. AACCKK! He feels pain because he knows that Yunsu loved (and still loves) Seungu. He has suffered hurt and loss from his own broken engagement from Yunsu, so he must feel justified in making others feel hurt, too. He especially despises and is jealous of Seungu, so he really wants to make him suffer. ------------Great human being.

This character is yet another one, IMO, of whom we're supposed to believe whatever the drama says about him at any given time. He loves Yunsu, he doesn't care about Yunsu, he's hurt, he's just mean, he's a philanderer, he wants to get married, etc. Who can keep track?
I think he did everyone a favor by spilling the beans about Sena, though. She wanted to confess, but she could never bring herself to do it.

Is Jinhui supposed to be older than the others? He sounded like he thought his advice should be followed because of his greater experience or something. The creep. Maybe he has multiple personality disorder? Why can't HE comfort or sort out Yunsu?

I can't figure this guy out. Maybe he wants everybody else to be miserable like him. Since Seungu is Yunsa's true love, he probably hates and resents Seungu alot, so he decided to tell him the truth.
On the other hand he might be trying to get Sena and Seungu to break up so he can have Sena. who knows..

I don't know, I was just yelling at the TV "What kind of twisted advice is this?" Although maybe he's trying to get Seungu and Yunsu together so he can be with Sena? It seems as though he's been interested in her since they re-met up in Korea.

Jinhui is such a pivotal character, but we have such little background on him (and what we do know, we don't like!) ---Also, sometimes I wish Sena wasn't so trusting and accepting of what this creep tells her. I'm surprised that she speaks to him at all after recognizing him years after their "3-day affair" in London. She is a sweet, innocent girl who probably felt hurt, embarassed and used, being with some guy for such a short time and then having it end abruptly. (Somehow, I automatically assume that HE is the reason it only lasted 3 days......)

It's possible that Jinhui's character isn't fully fleshed out because while the writer may have known that people like Jinhui exist they didn't have any personal experience with someone like that and don't know what motivates them.

In episode 5 Didn't they mention that Sena met Jinhui because she had lost her wallet and passport in London. If he was a diplomat in London at the time helping her out wouldn't it be a little unethical to have a relationship with the person you are trying to help out. I don't know if that is what happened but that would be a little creepy to take advantage of a person who is in a distressed state because they lost their passport.

Anyway, if this is how their meeting transpired, then I totally agree with you.

I had to download episode 5 because I forgot to set up the VCR. The scene occurs about 33-36 minutes into the episode. Seungu and Sena are already in Japan and Sena has a flashback scene back to the wedding day. She is talking to Sooji (her tall friend) Sena is wearing the same dress that she got into right before she and Seungu met Seo Jinhui and Yunsu on the steps so the time must be after that meeting but before Sena and Seungu left for the airport. Sooji brings up that story (presumably Sena has just told her about Jinhui and asked for advice but it is not shown) about the lost passport and wallet and mentions to Sena that Sena must have thought Jinhui was her Prince Charming. Then Sena responded back with "He even drove up in a white car". The scene ends with Sooji telling Sena not to tell her Seungu and the flashback ends and the episode returns to the Sena in the hotel. If it was six years ago Sena was probably at most in her early twenties at the time too. When 28 went off the air I went back and reviewed the earlier episodes to keep my habit going (except episodes 1 and 2 which I didn't see). Now I am completely reliant on the downloads because of poor reception.
