It seems that we did like it after all. Yes, I did enjoy it very much! My favorite characters were Sena and her father. I found both of them very appealing and quite endearing.

It's rather slow, but strangely, this is one of the very few korean dramas that i did not press the "forward" button ( i did that to a lot of dramas, esp jewel in the palace). there are a number of meaningful dialogues from the cast and plenty of marriage advices. one of the memorable lines quoted was by sena's mother-in-law about the how a couple should stand on the same line and so forth. however, to a certain extend, it's rather preachy and can be useful for pre-marriage counseling!!

I actually liked this drama series. One reason why it did not garner lofty ratings was because it catered to a niche group of people who are rather sentimental and thoughtful about life and in this case, married life, arranged marriage etc. The lead actor is a serious reliable character yet he makes mistakes. He can be quite callous about things. The lead female character is loveable but at times can be quite a pain in the neck showing a bit of immaturity. I do get agitated at times cos I love the both of them. At the same time, it portrays real life where at one time or another we can be very silly or immature ourselves when it comes to some things. This drama highlights the flaws in us that we may have without apology. I do feel fortunate that this drama exists after all!
