This drama doesn't seem to be a hit with the viewers on this board, but I've caught a few episodes here and there and I’m actually intrigued by the storyline. I believe it's nearing the end, but if anyone that’s actually watching this drama can clarify a few things for me, that would be great.
What kind of experiment are they planning to do that they need Ice Girl?
And in yesterday's episode, I missed a couple of lines before the male, older Doctor that seems to be pushing for the experiment said something like "I've got the results. She's (someone's) real daughter, not step-daughter"...what is he talking about?
And what's happening to Ice Girl that she's gagging like she wants to throw up? Pregnant?

Hi, Luvz, I stopped watching this two weeks ago, so take this with a grain of salt, but I might know the answer to your second question. Maybe someone else can back this up or correct me, but I thought that before he died, Ice Girl's real father (the doctor/mad scientist) told the man who had been her lover before she was frozen that she was not his real daughter but that she was like a daughter to him. Actually, it's coming back to me--he did tell the former lover that she was an orphan who just happened to look exactly like the girl who had supposedly died all those years ago. At one point early on, Lover Man actually looked for her mythological "real parents" (who, of course, don't exist). So maybe these results you're talking about prove that she really was the mad scientist's daughter and not just some foster child/adoptee/stepdaughter. As for the rest, I'm sorry I can't help you. I'm glad you are enjoying the drama, though.  |

What kind of experiment are they planning to do that they need Ice Girl? Well, that's the part that has always confused me. Why would they need her? What exactly are they expecting to find? Wouldn't they just need to know how her dad conducted the procedure? And in yesterday's episode, I missed a couple of lines before the male, older Doctor that seems to be pushing for the experiment said something like "I've got the results. She's (someone's) real daughter, not step-daughter"...what is he talking about? I missed most of the episode but I'm guessing he did a DNA test to confirm that she's really Kim So Ryung. And what's happening to Ice Girl that she's gagging like she wants to throw up? Pregnant? Those are side effects to her being brought back to life. |
