It airs in the 8 PM Wednesday and Thursday timeslot. Little is known about this drama as of posting time. It will run for 16 episodes. It has several alternate titles, including "She Is Back" and "Ice Girl."
Information available on Koreanwiz.org, which lists it as "Ice Girl," indicates that most if not all of the cast will be unfamiliar to Chicago viewers. It seems to be high-concept, being about a girl who has heart problems and is "frozen," then is thawed out 25 years later and receives a heart transplant.

I watched the first episode tonight........ this is different from the usual modern K-dramas we've seen on Ch. 28 previously.... ------- -Although there WERE a few of the typical K-drama themes......parent's disapproval of "lowly" boy for their daughter, female lead has terminal illness, etc., etc. **I do plan to watch it again tomorrow.

First impressions... disappointing. I'm not ready for a SciFi Korean drama. not impressed with the characters, the story line or much else. For now I'll have my WED and TH free ::)and will check in from time to time with the spoiler thread From the very first episode I loved LL, WML, and yellow Handkerchief... I found this first episode an effort to watch

I didn't like it at first, I tough it was the same story line. but once I saw the father experimenting with the animals I could understand the title. I love sci-fi so I think I'll stick around and see what happens.

Be careful of spoilers since California is a few episodes ahead, but the list of characters there (combining KBS cast pictures together with Koreanwiz.org's romanized character names) may be useful to those trying to follow along.

I actaully watched the first episode. I was curious. I too am a sci-fi fan like Raven. I'm not sure if I'll stick this one out or not. I think I'll watch tonight to see where it's going first.

I know I shouldn't judge from just one episode, but all the other dramas I watched I liked right away. I might tune in from time to time, if I'm home, but I don't even think I'll be taping it.

You know I did like the first episode. Although maybe I was more mesmirezed by the delicious (as dear Kathleen would say) man-child Hanok. That guy is cute but looks as if he's all of 16.
Maybe part of the appeal was that the girl is a big Vivien Leigh fan. I love VL, esp in GWTW.

One of the many things I love about the Korean dramas is that they're credible. I personally think cryogenics is a wonderful science - the little yelping dog and all.
but for true credibility, bringing his daughter back to life 25 years later is way over the top. Can't relate to it, don't even want to.
While Hanok has a delicious quality in 1979, perhaps in 25 years (2004), he'll be paunchy, toothless, and have bad hair (similar to one-cup-coffee man in WML).
I digress... I will enjoy reading everyone's comments because they will provide some much needed comic relief to this series.

Alas, I feel the same way. This is just a wait and see thing for me. I recently bought Charles Dicken's Bleak House to do a personal study so I think I'll go with that.

Yeah... this one is nothing more than ordinary. And even that's being generous.

I just remembered, I can't watch tonight. We're going to the Chicago premier of "Cry Wolf". Let me know how it goes tonight.
