just note that if you intend to get the DVD set from ebay, they'll be using the chinese translations of the names for the characters...I think it's much easier to look up d-addicts for the subs, since they'll be like the english subs you're watching right now on TV.

i heard that director's cut version of DVD will be out on late october/ early november in korea. Right after the show was ended director started to work on the project.
I'm surprised how fast they're working on getting this show out on DVD.
I'm happy they're going to be a director's cut, this drama definitely deserves it...I just hope that the one KBS America will be providing on their e-store will be the director's cut because Yesasia has basically pulled all Bitwin distributed K-drama DVD sets off of their Yesasia North American site. If I have to get my hands on the director's cut (and hopefully english subs will be made available along w/ it), I'll go to the extent of ordering from Bitwin's partner site: www.dvdmarket.co.kr when it's made available.
I hope they also spend time on packaging, it would be totally worth it =)

i also heard that bitwin is not going to participate in making director's cut dvd. if you have any inquiry on dvd e-mail to the kbs media
even better! I was worried because w/ KBS America being the distributor for KBS dramas on DVD here in the US, the DVD version would be different than bitwin's...but now that it's KBS Media's and KBS America is basically a division of KBS, I hope that KBS America will be offering the Director's Cut.
and thank you drama mania for the info!

I just found this forum today while looking for some Rebirth Screencaps so I could make some LJ icons for myself. Let me just say I am so glad I am not the only Chicagoan who has become Obsessed with this show. My family and friends just don't get it and I can't get any of them to sit down and watch it. Maybe when I get the DVD's...
~Purloinedkitten~ ^_^ Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's first law of equivalent exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one and only truth.
