I like having separate threads for each episode in these short dramas. (how many more episodes, btw?) This drama makes me cry so much. Everyone is so sad. Poor Woojin #2, at the end of this episode, comes right out and asks Eunha for momentary sympathy, and after she shows that she obviously has no sympathy for anyone but Andrea, he says, "Oh, that's right. I forgot. He comes first with everyone." And he walks away sadly. I can see him starting to become a little twisted over this issue. I mean, he recently found out his own mother isn't really his mother but they've always loved each other like mother and son, but now that her "real" son is in the picture, he feels that she loves Andrea more. And the girl he likes only thinks about Andrea. And his father is awful. And his little sister is sick. Poor guy. And Andrea feels horrible about being abandoned and is confused now that he's forgiven his mom, and he doesn't want to love Eunha because he wants to run away and be a priest as he's always planned. You can see him just yearning for some stability and continuity, so that dream will die hard, if at all, I think. Eunha loves Andrea and has no one else. Gosh, everyone's unhappy. Everyone's an orphan.

A good drama in 16 action/emotion-packed episodes. I have to view my tape, but you are right, poor Woojin was knocked to second place from one day to another. Mostly, the parent's of this drama are to blame for their children's sufferings.

Oh, yeah. What a mess those two are, the mom and dad. I don't know how they could have screwed up their kids' lives by their marital machinations any worse!

Poor Lee Woojin. He seems to be asking both of the women he loves to choose betw him and Andrea. And it's not really fair the way he's doing it. It's so strange to see Sir Min so out of control (hitting the wall next to Eunha's head? ) But what I found most disturbing about the episode was probably a side note for most ... that the male doctor/director (Woojin's Dad) was able to keep the child's mother out of the room. I think it's just sick that the kids are more the dad's than the mom's. Aigu! Also why was her own dad treating her and her mother said she wanted to treat her. Here in the U.S., unless it's an emergency and no one else is available, it's considered very unethical for a doctor to treat family.

This episode was definitely heartbreaking to watch. I caught the re-airing today at around 1:45 PM for those that want to know. I feel so bad for WooJin. Like everybody's been mentioning, he's become second to Andrea. Imagine what kind of damage it would do to him if he was only a kid. It's pretty bad for him right now. I noticed that he's sort of unconsciously maybe being possessive of his mother. He looks so torn between his feelings of friendship with Andrea and his feelings for his mother. He doesn't want to lose either.
Also, you'd think Eunha could be a little bit more sympathetic to WooJin since he's sort of in the process of possibly losing his mother. You'd think she'd understand it.
This drama is pretty good. I don't remember why I never watched it because I do remember it being on a few years back. Good thing they're re-showing it. :-)

Well I think Eunha does feel bad for Woojin, but she can't pretend to like him and give him false hope. I actually feel bad for both Woojin and Andrea. I mean Woojin grew up thinking another woman was his mother, and his dad is just evil and treats him like crap. And here is Andrea who was abandoned by his mother. I guess in a sense they were both abandoned by their mothers. I don't understand why neither of them fought for their sons. Why did Andrea's mom give him up? She could've raised him along with Woojin as brothers. It's normal for Woojin to feel like he is being replaced by Andrea, but the mother loves both of them and hopefully Woojin will see that eventually.

It's so strange to see Sir Min so out of control (hitting the wall next to Eunha's head? ) OMG. This is the scene I remember the most from the first time around I watched it. I don't know why, but I thought this was brilliant. Maybe because you got to see a k-drama character with ruffled feathers. Like he's so sick of hearing about Andrea he just can't control himself any longer. Ji Jin Hee is so hot, if he read the dictionary and smiled occassionally I'd watch.

And it's not really fair the way he's doing it. It's so strange to see Sir Min so out of control what about the scene where Andrea goes psycho and is trying to kiss Eunha and has her down on the floor? That was scary. I would've hit him upside the head with something. He definetely shouldn't become a priest.

I was going to reply here, but I'll post it on the Episode 6 thread, since we have one now.
