Overall I think the ending was alright, it seemed kinna rush but I liked it...KJ and IY seemed like they ended up together which I liked coz they really do love each other...I also like how they kinna told the viewers what happened to each character....Although SM doesnt seem have any hope from changing...she didnt even apologize to all those she hurt esp IY. I just hope that KJ and IY will live separately from her and she wont bother anymore instead spend her time playing with her new puppies ;D...I also like how MJ and IC are expecting their first baby....How Sunmi is getting married and IY's family is blessed with 2 new additions in their family. And also, JM and HC being happy together. It would've been cute if JM ended up marrying his housekeeper =)dat would've been hillarious ;D I got chills seeing KJ and IY dancing together, I have always liked them for each other...Its just one of those shows with a happy ending..."love conquers all." type of show! What does the rest of you think of it? ?

okay... - i'm glad sunmi got someone in the end. - i would've liked heejoo to have ended up with someone...that guy from the beginning...honestly!!! what purpose did he serve...he should've come back and i still felt a little uncomfortable about heejoo buying kijoon something....although i do understand that they have a better relationship now - mijung and inchul....are they married? i liked their ending - whatever happened to their sister...in-something!!! honestly!!! - i felt sad for jaemin and himchan...but they seemed happy....and more grateful - and yah...i'll add more if i can think of it but i was a little disappointed that they didn't show another wedding for inyoung and kijoon. i mean, come on. we watch all this drama.....150+ episodes....and no like wedding? although i still found it romantic at the end....sad romantic (sorry if i'm a sap to you guys XD) there were so many characters....and they disappeared in the end...characters i would've liked to have seen at the end.....urgh...makes me mad T-T that's just my side

I loved the show. I looked forward to watching it everyday. They are all great actors. Sometimes IY made me angry- she was playing hard to get all this time with KJ. She knew she loved him, but she was too prideful. It seems like the show moved so slowly and it was the same situation all the time, but then the ending was too quick and too much to absorb. I will miss watching it. Now I don't know what korean show to watch. Any suggestions??

Unfortunately I've missed a number of episodes lately including the last one...ugh! So I'm grateful for all the summary/comments.

Just have to say that I am sorry this story has ended, but actually, if it were not for the fans and spoilers I don't think I would have stuck to it. SML was so awful and I was so sick of seeing In-young dragging herself around it was really nice to see her smiling at the reunion. Well, I hope they come up with something really gripping like YSSI or Yellow Hankerchief. Those were not to be missed

The time element has me scratching my head. Sun-mi said it was 3 1/2 years between the reunions. In-young had 3 years of fertility treatments, didn't she?
IY's pregnancy is lasting way too long, on the other hand. There was the night at the cottage, KJ and HJ's wedding, settling in, wrangling, IY's pregnancy test, HJ's thinking KJ wanted a baby, separate rooms, divorce. At the same time, IY and JM dating, engaged, pregnancy test, breakup, reschedule, wedding chores, breakup. And she's only 80 days pregnant?? I can't figure out the timing. Grandfather brought home Fall decorations, they went to Guam, and In-chul and Mi-jung went to the park and had cotton candy? Then the time jump and it's Christmas? How close to birth is IY? Ah, well, it's only fiction.

Ginny, I think it was two years of treatments. That's what I think everyone kept saying.
LOL on your time listing.

Thanks, Bo, that sounds better. I think they said anything that would let them keep the adorable kids, Him-chan and Bobae, instead of recasting.

Yes! Go Bobae!! It would have been nice to see her walk on her own. Other things I would've liked seeing: Inchul as a Dad, the Grandparents getting married, how the mafia waitress' date went, Kijoon's mother say the words, "I'll respect your decision and I love MzJoVy's suggestion on Jaemin + his housekeeper. (Jaemin turns to housekeeper), "Where have you been all my life?"

Oh, Teresa, didn't you see the episode when Bo-bae came upstairs on her own and asked Oppa (Ki-joon) to come down to dinner? I can't remember the exact circumstance, it was one of those dinner scenes. She was sooooooo cute.

And wasn't she cute in the last episode, putting the decoration on the Christmas tree? They finally let her use her upper limbs for something besides eating. I think the little actress had a few moments in the final episode where she was enjoying being with the older actors. She sure didn't seem afraid of Screech Mom after all that screaming she'd witnessed. Probably the SM actress had to play with her between scenes and be really nice so Actress Bo-bae wouldn't think she was an ogre.

That's right, I nearly forgot that little Bobae had more time in front of the camera. As much as I disliked Kijoon's mother, I thought her sister's reaction to Bobae coming home with a scraped knee was a bit over-the-top. It was a SCRAPED KNEE for crying out loud, not a broken skull bone!!

LOL! Ok-ja really loves her precious Bo-bae. There's not many scenes that we see that Ok-ja lets Bo-bae walk around by herself. Usually Bo-bae is seen being held by her mom.

Funny, I went looking all over for a thorough summary of the final episode . . . and it turns out that there AREN’T ANY. Probably (being a bit cruel here ;D) nobody who sat through all 159 episodes felt it was quite worth the effort to summarize the final episode scene-by-scene. One fan on the Hawaii board ( kupuna96815) summarized it in this way: “Aunt and Grandpa went on a trip to Guam together, courtesy of In-Young, In-Chul and Mi-Jung. Mi-Jung finds out she is pregnant. In-Young, VERY pregnant goes to another reunion, sees Ki-Joon there and dances with him. They are giving each other loving glances and the show ends with a shot of them standing outside at the reunion, in each other's arms. Ahhhhhhhh!” Not much there – but honestly, there really wasn’t all that much to summarize. For a bit more detail, the “My Sweetheart” final episode thread over on the Philly board does recap everything pretty well. You can check it out here: www.koreandramas.net
