A show that's likely to be called "Peculiar Man" (at least, that's the title announced by KBS at the very end of "My Sweetheart's" final episode) began running about two weeks ago in Los Angeles. It's apparently something of a comedy-drama, but so far the California viewers seem pretty lukewarm about the show. Here's a link to the California discussion board, with photos of the cast members: com1.runboard.com/bcjkdramasincalifornia.fdiscussion.t134

What showed for us tonight with TAN is "The Bizarre Bunch" - it has a lot of familiar faces. I think I'm going to enjoy this one because I really like the actors I recognized.
(Rich grandma from Yellow Handerchief; father from Sassy Girl, Moonhee's (& JaeHee's) mom from To Be With You, the oldest daughter (the dentist) from Who's My Love, a guy I saw in a cooking drama a few years back and...well, I can't remember them all. I can't find any information on it, but it looks interesting.

In Korea, it's "Byulnan Yuja, Byulnan Namja" (별난 여자 별난 남자).
Yuja = Woman, and Namja = Man.
Byulnan = Peculiar, Odd, Unusual, Bizarre

So we're probably talking about the same show, after all. I haven't followed the links provided, but I guess that would prove it one way or the other.

Also, I see the young, foolish grandmother from Wedding Album.

I can't find any information on it, but it looks interesting. (Blushing) For some reason that link to the CA board doesn't work for me, so I wasn't sure it was the same drama. :-} I hope you guys get it in Chicago because it's already a light, refreshing change from all the dreariness of MSMD, so far. Gosh, I hope they don't call it "The Bizarre Bunch" here. "Peculiar Man, Peculiar Woman" is such a much more interesting title.

If I read the ending of MS correctly, they said "Bizarre Bunch" won't start until NEXT week.
But who knows. LOL.
