When I was first introduced to lovely Lee Bo Young at the start of “My Sweetheart,” I thought she was just so downright pretty. And I still think that she’s one of Korea’s most facially-beautiful women (especially, in the early episodes, when she had bangs – mikey sure does love girls with bangs! ;D )
But man, is she ever skinny! True for most Asian actresses, of course (and way too many American ones, too) but I’ll never figure why so many women seem to think that guys like stick people.
Regardless, she’s still a babe! Thank you, Knov1!

I noticed that most Koreans, Chinese, and Japanese has really nice skin. Does anybody know what stuff they use on their face? Just curious.

Young actresses on American soaps have beautiful skin, too. Sometimes in soap magazines they give away their secrets, but I think it's youth, good food, drinking lots of water, and cleanliness. And sunscreen. But I'd like to hear any helpful hints anyone has.

I think Asians in particular used some kind of skin treatment to keep their skin looking nice. I have a Chinese friend who has really nice skin and she doesn't even wear a lot of make-up. These American celebrities used technology to make themselves look good., at least most of them does...no offense to anyone.

Hey, true!
She is so pretty. I didn't realize. She looks great in closeup. My favorite is the outfit with the cute hat. She looks kind of funky and fun there, not so much the perfect little wife as in "My Sweetheart."

Wow! She's so beautiful! Even without make-up! I was talking with my cousin about the show a few weeks ago and she said Lee Bo-young is beautiful....the type of person that with one glance you know is beautiful right away.

Yes, yes, I have that "beautiful person" connection with Lee Bo-young...hee, hee...
I think I read somewhere that Asian people have "thicker" skin that does not age as quickly as caucasian skin. But, I think I've read that about just about every race that is not considered "caucasian" so who knows what the heck the science is, LOL. Maybe it's something having to do with the melanin level present. I've stayed out of the sun most of my life, and my skin is in pretty darned good shape, even though I'm just about the palest paleface in town. I think ginnycat has the right end of the stick, there.

my closest friend is asian, and her whole family (the females) use shishedo products. Their skin is also beautiful. it's a good product line. pricey, but worth it. i'm african american and ilove how it makes my skin feel. my mom uses it too

Thanks, ANF. I have heard of Shishedo. I guess the question is, is it the product or natural DNA from one's ancestors? I guess you'd have to look at your mother, LOL. In my family, my mom looks very young and I do, too, but my younger sisters, who are in the sun a lot, tend to be perceived as older than I am. Maybe it's the immaturity thing...LOL.

I truely think Koreans in particular have nice skin, because of the foods they eat, mainly rice. Koreans eat rice everyday, 3 times a day if not more. Plus they have Kimchi, which is actually good for you. I'm not sure it that is really the reason, but this is what I always believed for some reason......LOL
