I think we've all seen the depression and declining mental state of Ki-joon as he gives up on life and just agrees with what his mother wants from him. He's following In-young, seeing her with a happy, normal Jae-min and his little son, then meeting with Sun-mi to ask why IY is returning to a normal life without him. KJ is drinking a lot more, even after spending a long time recovering from a car accident due to alcohol. The only spark of happiness was when he went fishing with his uncle. At home, he seems so despondent especially when his mother wants to pick a bride for him and grilling him why he doesn't want to marry Hee-joo.
Ki-joon needs some serious counseling because I fear that he'll commit suicide. There's no hope for him leading his own life until he leaves home.

I wish SM would be more supportive to her son. Instead she's rushing him off into another marriage so she can have a grandchild. Ok, having a grandchild is a wonderful thing, but right now, it's her SON that she should be more concerned about.

Yeah, I'd feel bad for the poor woman that SM picked out...going into a household where SM will be on her about babies 24hrs a day, having a husband who doesn't even love her, and I'm pretty sure Hee-joo would be paying a lot of visits to the place...might as well be Hee-joo, his mom will be happy, Hee-joo will be happy, less suicidal, and willing to marry him no matter if he loves her or not and Ki-joon will have two controlling women in his life forcing him to become a booze hound...IT'S HAPPY TIME!

Man, is everybody gonna be in a world of hurt...Hee-joo excepting Ki-joon's proposal (sort of a proposal) and then Ki-joon finding In-young and she decides to say "Screw it, let's back together." Oh I can hear the cries of SM now and the craziness that is Hee-joo.

The scene where Ki-joon watched In-young from afar as she read their love letters was so touching. I was suprised when KJ all of a sudden came up and grabbed IY in a hug. I thought he was just going to keep watching her from afar. But it was so great of him to say, "I don't need anything except you!"

WHY OH WHY did he have to first accept Hee-joo before giving it one last try with In-young? It would have been OK if only he hadn't accepted Hee-joo. HJ wouldn't have liked it, but she said herself that she would let him go if it was to someone he loved as much as In-young! Now it's going to be the same hell all over again.
BTW, I sure did not see that coming!

I just can't imagine any man, in his 30's, is constantly trying to please his mother. Hee-joo isn't that stable if she tried to drown herself. From the beginning of Ki-joon's marriage to In-young, I kept hoping that they'd go far, far away so that they could live a life even without having children.
I feel sorry for Ki-joon, but he really needs to tell his mother where to go. We also need to feel sorry for In-young and Hee-joo who he's still trying to work into his web of confusion. I mean, what kind of relationship will HJ have with KJ who really doesn't love her as a wife? Then, every time that IY tries to forget him, KJ comes into her life making her feel guilty for his misery.
Maybe Ki-joon should just leave for a distant location where he can start living again.

This is disgusting. He accepted Hee-joo, then got together with In-young again? I'm just annoyed by this guy. There are bones in your back, you're supposed to know how to use them.
