How darn long have they been talking about Hejoo's gallery? Gallery this, gallery that, and then they don't even show the "party". SM's dress looked like she made it out of velvet curtains.

What's with all the velvet stuff on this show? HJ's house has ugly green velvet couches. SM's house has ugly velvet couches.
A coffee shop (in a future episode) has the same ugly couches in a different color. All of the styles seem to be the same as well - did HJ's mom and SM go shopping for furniture at the same time?
They must have been donated for the show because I simply can't imagine that style being the rage in Korea. So 70's (and tacky).
I guess it's supposed to be opulence, but it comes across the opposite to me.

I'm sorry to say but most of these daily dramas have really ugly sets when it comes to "rich people" houses. I think I prefer how the middle class families decorate their house.
Remember those ugly orange chairs from OMR? Man, their taste do date back to the 70s I bet they're "vintage originals".

I think Screech Mom chose her living room chair because it looks like a throne.

Remember the parents' bedroom on My Precious Child? It was all fake-Chinese (or was it 70s modern? I can't quite remember, and the two styles are equally gag-making to me) and gold wallpaper. Yuck.
