Hey... does anyone know where I can buy like.. the seasons for this drama? It's excellent. And another thing... jump off Kijoons back. He's a good guy... he should respect and follow what his mother tells him... you're never too old to disobey your mother. I just started watching the series about a month and a half ago... and from what I've seen... Kijoon has it bad. I wonder how this drama will resolve itself....

I just watched the part where IY tells JM she can't marry him, and the look on his face was heartbreaking. I hope this resolves in his favor, because if not, I'm gonna barf. No, really, barf.
Oh, hydragyrum, I don't think anyone here wants to jump on any part of Ki-joon, LOL. You may have him for your own.
By the way, why does ANYONE tell Sunmi ANYTHING? Hmm?

And why is she their ONLY friend?

Yeah! What is with these losers, anyway? Why doesn't Ki-joon become buddies with some of those guys he works with? He's kind of a distant boss, isn't he? Who wants to work with an old stick like that? (Oops. I don't want to bring down the wrath of Hydragyrum, LOL.) Hey, come to think of it, he really reminds me of Min-joo on Yellow Hankie. She was very distant from her employees, it was like a fiefdom, I don't know how Sang-min ever got near her. And Mr Oh (and Aunt Rainbow) on OMR! Hmm, looks like there are two types of bosses, your isolated overlord (mentioned above) and your benevolent supervisor (Jae-min, Sun-mi). The thing is, I would have thought that Ki-joon would fall into the latter category. He doesn't act like a guy running a sports center, he acts like a guy running an international hotel.

He acts like a guy running a mortuary. Just kidding. He used to be more fun, back when he would play with the kids and have meetings with people other than his mother. I didn't see YH, but I agree with your other comments about types of bosses. I think Jae-min, though, is kind of a blend. He is friendly and fun, but he also knows when to quit joking around and get down to work, without squelching anyone's enthusiasm or anything. He definitely pulls rank on that crazy giggling guy when he has to. As opposed to Sunmi, who sometimes lets her employees get a little personal, IIRC.

By the way, why does ANYONE tell Sunmi ANYTHING? Hmm? Bo I'm glad In-young tells Sun-mi her troubles, otherwise she would be totally isolating herself. Hee-joo vents to her mother; that's a smart thing to do. If only IY would talk to the elders in her family, maybe she wouldn't be in such a mess. She has needed some sage advice for years, by now.

Well at least the characters have a friend. In so many past shows, characters have to bottle up their torment. I always thought, "Why don't they have a friend they can share their problems with?"
In this show, they literally share their problems with Sun-mi, and she then shares them with someone else.

...In this show, they literally share their problems with Sun-mi, and she then shares them with someone else. Yes, that's my problem with her. She's a reporting service, not a confidante. But your point about "no friends" is well taken. Bo

i cant stand sunmi, its all her fault that kijoon found out about inyoungs prgnancy. she is an annoying character that lives off other peoples lives b/c she has no life of her own. if she was a true friend she would see that the healthiest relationship for her is with jeamin. but obviously the only person to actually put their foot down and actually do something is kijoons mother. at least she has her mind set and goes for it ,however evil it might be. but everyone else is a flip flopper. they never go follow through their decision. how can be inyoung say she would marry jeamin but still keeps contact with kijoon? how inconsiderate is that? she only cares about herself and her feelings. she should keep her promise to marry jeamin. if she doesnt then she herself doesnt deserve love. i feel soooooooo sorry for jeamin, he is the only character that i want to see happy cause he is the only one who has showed that he deserves to be happy. he has not done anything wrong to deserve pain, but everyone else does, especially kijoon and inyoung!!!!!

Come on, guys, it wasn't Sun-mi's fault that Ki-joon found out. She was only talking on her cell phone, and she had no reason to worry that KJ might be around. She was at the restaurant meeting someone else! And he had to come up close behind her and listen in.
Sun-mi does not live off anyone (like a parasite?). She has her own life and is as good a friend to them as she can be. What fun have those people ever given her? All they do is put her in the middle of their problems and mope around and cry in front of her. She keeps complaining about it, but they still keep dumping all their sensitive info on her. She tries to be supportive, but come on, it's been years now that In-young and Ki-joon have been using her like their Friar Lawrence (do you like my Shakespearean reference?). Only occasionally do they go out and do something other than talk about KJ and IY's problems. And yeah, look what happened to Romeo and Juliet.

Even if Sun-mi didn't tell him, he would find out sometime later and it would only be more difficult. I missed the part where Ki-joon and Jae-min were talking about how Jae-min wants to raise the child as his own. I got to the part where KJ was driving back and thinking about Jae-min's words, "When it is the right time for the child to know, I will tell him or her about you and I will make sure the child can find you." But did Ki-joon say anything to Jae-min after Jae-min told him that?

Aiyeesh, you guys, LOL. Okay, so she's not evil. She just drinks too much and talks about other people's problems in public places. But those seem to be problems for a LOTTA people on these shows. I don't think she's a parasite or anything, I just think she gives up information a little too easily. I blame In-young for placing these burdens on her fragile shoulders. Bo

sunmi is not evil. she is just nosy. And as for the cell phone thing, who talks about your friend's baby daddy drama all loud in a public place? Especially when old Pufferfish(that's what I call Kijoon. His face is all puffy and when he is angry, his eyes pop out) has a known history of appearing like an unwanted rash. Since I missed a while due to school stuff, I want to comment on IY's walk. Will she puhleeze stop the drama? Oh, I am so sad because my baby daddy is going to leave his wife. Oh, I am so sad because that sexy Jaemin wants to raise my baby. Does she know how many people on Maury P would kill to have this setup?! Why doesn't she love Jaemin. He's perfect! Perfect. And his face doesn't puff up. I hope the baby doesn't inherit that face.
