Didn't In-young's doctor test her for pregnancy? I know! In every other Korean soap opera, the doctors they consult for dizziness do the test right there on the spot instead of suggesting they visit an ob/gyn. The writers want to eke this out, I guess. Yes, that drives me crazy. And why does it always require a face-to-face meeting? At long last, In-young FINALLY asks, "What's this about?" before agreeing to meet Hee-joo, but of course she gets the answer, "I'll tell you when we meet." And she accepts that. There is a fairly polite way to get out of it and make her point; she could have said, "Sorry, but whenever I meet you or Ki-joon's mother I end up hearing something upsetting, so I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to meet you. I really don't have time. Write me a note." Or something like that. But it must be required by Korean etiquette to give someone a meeting if they ask for one.

Very nice note, Lucy, polite and cooperative, too. ps: Lucy, how did you break up my post into 2 parts? I tried once, but ended up changing the quote by writing in the middle. (Maybe you use a mouse. There's a lot I don't know how to do with this laptop.)

Ginny, I "quoted" your whole message, then deleted the parts I wasn't using. Then I typed in my own "end quote" (which is a square bracket followed by a forward-slash and the word "quote," then the end bracket). Then I wrote my own text, and before the rest of your message, I added another "start quote" (same as the end quote, but minus the forward-slash). Clear? It sounds complicated, but it isn't really. Hope that helps! Lucy

Thanks, Lucy! I just remembered that the messages are dissected into clear keystrokes lower down on the quote page, so there it was when I scrolled down. Hope I remember next time I need something.

What the hell is going on? IY is getting on my nerves. She has two men! Two! The rest of us are lucky to get one. She better stop tripping and marry that fine man Jae min. He has a muscular upper torso and his back urves all sexy-like into the torso Ok, ok! I will stop. Will it kill her to hug him??? I remember when I was little I dropped a popsicle accidently. My mom said, it's ok. Go get another. Get another, IY! Drop Kijoon, and get with Jaemin!

I remember when I was little I dropped a popsicle accidently. My mom said, it's ok. Go get another. Get another, IY! Awesome advice for IY! I feel the same way. Drop the giant baby, grab JM around that handsome torso, and hang on like grim death!

In-young so wanted to mother Him-chan tonight, wipe his face and help serve him food, but stopped herself. That's going to be so painful to tell Him-chan, and for IY to separate herself from him, more than from JM.

Poor In-young has been through hell the last few years. She married KJ, went through nothing but misery trying to get pregnant to please her crazy MIL. She gets a job, meets JM, but still has feelings for KJ. She spends a night with him, thinking that she can't get pregnant. It's obvious that she wasn't under the glare of crazy MIL watching her for symptoms of pregnancy.
She does care for JM and his son, but has kept the romance slow-paced while trying to forget KJ. Just when she agrees to marry JM, she finds out that she's pregnant by KJ. Poor IY has nothing but grief with KJ. Now that she's carrying his child, she must either face going back to KJ's house with his crazy mother, or marry JM knowing that she's bringing into their marriage a child that isn't his. I'm sure that JM would marry her anyway, accepting her child as his own as she accepts Him-Chan.
IY is a kind, compassionate, loving person who deserves some happiness and stability in her life.

Right before they cut to the scene where IY is telling JM that they can't get married, there was supposed to be a scene w/ SM (Sun-mi) and KJ at a bar (as usual)...I'm wondering, was SM going to reveal to KJ that IY is carrying his kid?

Yeah, I wondered what that scene was too. All I saw was a quick scene of the bar and two people sitting there: KJ and SM. But I would rather have that scene cut out than the scene with IY and JM. Poor JM. He was so happy to be getting the wedding clothes. He was smiling and everything. The moment IY told him, "I'm sorry," his face immediately fell. He even told IY that whatever it was, he could help fix it. He really loves her.

And what is up with IY not telling JM the real reason why she doens't wanna go through with the wedding? She kept beating around the bush...JM deserves to know why she's backing out on their marriage, "I'm sorry" is not enough. I swear IY is starting to annoy me more and more as I watch this show.

I, too, felt so sorry for Jae-min who was so happy about getting married to In-young. I don't know about Korean attitudes, but it could be that IY feels ashamed by becoming pregnant by her ex. It's not like she had a fling with an acquaintance but by someone she loves. JM has been patient, assuming that IY is over KJ, but now must accept the truth that IY never forgot KJ. By the way, did KJ ever really file divorce papers? It could be that he's still legally married to IY, and his marriage to Hee-joo is not legal.
I don't think KJ's going to be upset and devastated if HJ decides to leave him. I think KJ will be elated to know that IY is pregnant with his child. The only decision he has to make is whether he'll stay with IY with his crazy mother or move far, far away that he should have done years ago.

I saw the scene at the bar on the VOD. Ki-joon and Sun-mi talk for a while. Frequently, when Ki-joon says something, Sun-mi gets a pained and confused look on her face like she's caught in the middle, but she doesn't seem to spill the beans to Ki-joon.
This was followed by a scene of In-young's father and grandfather playing checkers, and Aunt comes in and kibitzes.
