i think sun-mi is going to get with jae-min's friend (what is his name?) and in-chul will eventually get with mi-jung. but once sun-mi see mi-jung and in-chul grow close i bet she'll all of a sudden develope these "feelings" again.

Sun-mi will only realize that she wants In-chul when she sees that someone else has him. Then she'll realize how important In-chul really is to her. Jae-min's friend is Mr. Noh (I don't know his first name) and I think he likes Sun-mi. But like he told Jae-min, the problem with the relationship is that it's too comfortable.

I seriously think that SM's relationship with IC is purely "to have fun." She's not interested in marriage, let alone thinks he's "marriage material." What a shocker! LOL, well, maybe it's not that funny. She's looking for something in IC, that she isn't too keen to persue. Like, helping him go back to college and find a good job for himself. Maybe not a doctor or something, but doing something that he could like. Instead, she indulges his "playful" behavior and it's not helping anybody. Sadly enough.

Technically his first name IS Noh, snce the family name comes first in Korea I believe they said his given name is Ki-chan, but I'm not sure . . . I thought Hee-joo's mom was named Yeo-sa, until I found that Yeo-sa means "Mrs."

i think sun-mi missed out on a good guy. in-chul at first seemed selfish and childish but he's defiantly capable of love. he would do anything for sun-mi, and the way he treats his sisters and aunt shows u how he'll treat the woman in his life.
sun-mi will miss him when he's gone

Mi-jung should should stay away from In-chul! He will only ruin her life! She needs to find a decent ,good guy in college.

I think In-Chul and Mi-Jung will get together eventually and i think it'll be a good match. Mi-Jung would clearly not be "just playing," like some people.

i've been watching the episodes here and there and i just saw the repeat of friday's episode this morning. im a little confused. sun-mi and in-chul have only been together for a few weeks -- according to the subs? i could swear that they've been together more than that. weren't they together BEFORE Ki-Joon's aunt was pregnant... so it has to be at least 9 months that they've been together right?
Also, I never knew that Sun-mi's 30. I thought a woman her age would be thinking of marriage already, but I guess Sun-mi doesn't have the same train of thought as others. I felt so bad for In-chul when they were in the car and Sun-mi told him that she had no intentions of marriage. From the flashbacks that she was having of In-chul, I wonder if she'll change her mind because it seems like she really does like him. Did she ever mention why she never had the intention of marriage in general, not just with In-chul?

You're not the only one who's confused, BB. You, me, and the writers! They have messed up with the timeline and you're right, it's been more like a year, not a couple of months! In one of these threads I wrote about Him-chan's age--in a year of story, he's gone from one to three years of age.

That time jump is just the magic of K-dramas .... it's a cardinal rule that every K-drama must have at least one time jump ... but the time jumps do make sense for the story line ... consider watching KJ & IY trying those fertility procedures for every episode untill the conclusion instead of the time jump .. B-O-R-I-N-G -- I think that Sun mi just does not want the responsibility of marriage. She is a free spirit and does not seem to have the need for marriage or children in her life - at least not right now. That is a very Western idea and not the traditional Korean way. I think she truly does care about In chul but values her "freedom" and is reluctant to give it up, even for love. [sigh - sigh] On the other hand Lucy, if the In chul role was played by LCH , I would consider Sun mi to be crazy not to marry him immediately! - LOL

Yes, the writers speed up time, but usually the time jump is the same for everyone. Maybe Inchul was just lying so to minimize his secret-keeping. Aunt was not pleased that Sunmi was just playing, even for those "few weeks". Why didn't Inchul explain that they have been chaste? Is that situation (sleeping in the same room) so horrifying, even tho noone else knows of it?

Is that situation (sleeping in the same room) so horrifying, even tho noone else knows of it? maybe they werent being "chaste" (evil grin) From statements Sun-mi's mom made, I think the point is that they were sleeping in the same room at all, not what they were doing in there. She said things to the effect that the woman's behavior and what she did with her reputation were important, so if you compromise your appearance like that, you get married. About Mi-jung and her going to college, isn't it hilarious that now that she's officially "studious" she wears her official "I'm an intelligent person" glasses? Off-topic, but remember in the last few years when everyone in Hollywood (hello, Julia Roberts) had to get horn-rimmed glasses as accessories. That really bugs me. I knew someone who didn't need glasses but wanted to get a pair with nonprescription lenses just because they made a cool accessory.
