ok... lots of people on several threads keep referring back to YH, so i thought that an oncreen pair of your preference would be mi-rung and in-chul... o well, this makes sense (mi-jung and in-chul).

I like Sun-mi a lot! She is just so sparkly, though I wish she would not be portrayed as someone who drinks so much and then depends on her firends for hangover medicine She is bright and friendly and reminds me of one of those people who gives such great firendship and advice - yet can't seem to get herself together all the time - like her mother calling to harass her about getting married. So what does she do? - she gets drunk! I'd like to see her with Mr. Noh. I like In-chul but he is so immature. I don't care to see him with either girl. He can stay with the 2-wheeled Sun-mi!

Ooh, how did I miss the Sun-mi thread? SM is my favorite character. Mary Tyler Moore is a perfect comparison. With all the berets she's been wearing lately, I half expect her to start spinning around and throw one in the air.
I like SM and In-chul together, they just get along so well. But after last night's episode (when Jae-min gave In-young a ride to the cafe) I had this fantasy of In-young with Jae-min, and Sun-mi with cafe guy, all together at Duomo (sp?) drinking kopi and listening to Sun-mi's adventures in pah-tee planning. What a cool group that would be!

What a cool group that would be! I'd love to drink kopi with that group! We should all go, sit at the next table and lean waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over sideways, trying not to look as though we are eavesdropping, dribbling our drinks all over our Hello Kitty sweaters and pointy high heel shoes... i know that having your appendix removed has nothing to do with drinking, but hopefully sun-mi will start taking care of her body a little more. She always has really bad hangovers.

Her job doesn't require drinking. She just does.
Some folks just do.

Still, she should take better care of herself, though, like not drink so much and such. She's always calling for medicine for her hangovers. Maybe she won't drink as much after she gets out of the hospital and sees how hard it can be if she got seriously ill. It must be tough when she gets sick like that and has to go to the hospital alone because she doesn't live with her family. Lucky she has her In-Chul .

I wonder if we'll ever get her backstory, what her family is like, and how they feel about her being far away.

I wonder if we'll ever get her backstory, what her family is like, and how they feel about her being far away. heres what i think....i if she marries in-chul..since her mom wants her to marry....thats when her family comes into play...and when they hear his young age and he works at a grocery store for a living....they'll get mad and dissaprove...more drama....then if the writers wanna....through in-chul and mi-jung caught talking or sumthing by her family.....^^ ooh i should write my own K-drama...^^

Haha, it was so funny when that guy (Mr. Noh?) visited Sun-mi at the hospital and In-Chul got all jealous. "Oh my wallet and cellphone! Oh no...they're in my pocket." and then he started coughing all loud and stuff.

Will she do something about it, though? I mean, asking about the flowers kind of made it seem like it, but then she still kinda treats him like a little brother.

I think Sun-mi enjoys In-chul's character because he's not very challenging. Isn't he in his mid-20's with no career in mind, crooning over a motor-cycle? They seem to get along very well when they're drinking.
Maybe there will be an attraction between Sun-mi, who has a business, and Mr. Noh who is a successful businessman. In-chul needs to grow up a lot, though I think the young Mi-jung is trying to steer him in the right direction though he treats her very poorly.
