There were some links to see VOD's posted on the SoCal fanboard, which you didn't need to register to watch. I watched about half of ep one a few weeks ago, but the lack of subtitles required a lot of guess work to flesh out the plot.

Ki-jun and In-young are out doing a little shopping. She sees a pencil sharpener that she had as a kid and buys it. The two do a lot of joking around about their younger days. Meanwhile, Hee-joo, her mother, and Ki-jun's mom are at a restaurant talking about Hee-joo and Ki-jun's relationship . Ki-jun and In-young go to a restaurant to eat. In-young gets really drunk. Ki-jun takes her home via Taxi. The two sit outside the steps of her house just talking and laughing. In-young's dad finds them. They all go inside the house. When Ki-jun is revealed as Ok-jin's mother....the woman that was In-young's mom's childhood friend, the family is pleasantly surprised. But In-young's aunt is not. She can't understand why they were friends if Ki-jun's mom never contacted them after the death of In-young's mom. Ki-jun goes home and talks with his mom. His mom tells him that she like set a date or something for the engagement party (?) of him and Hee-joo. Ki-jun does not like this and protests. His mom just wails and throws her hissy fit. In-young's dad was at the hospital visiting his father-in-law. It is revealed that In-kyung is a daugther that In-young's father had with another woman, I think. Grandpa is discharged from the hospital and comes to live with the family. Jae-min's (Min-jae from OMR) wife's conditions are getting worse and worse. Ki-jun and Hee-joo meet for lunch. Hee-joo continues to throw herself at him and tell him how much she wants to marry him, etc. Ki-jun doesn't like the pressure and suddeness. I think there might be more info, but I can't remember right now. I hope this helps.

OMG! hee-joo is just way too possessive. it actually reminds me of Hee-soo's mom from MPC. So controlling! and she basically stalks ki-joon. he answers her calls though. if it was me i'd say "annyoung!" and hang-up.

Yeah, Hee-joo is definitely annoying. I wonder when Ki-jun will just stop answering his phone when he sees that it is her calling him. He answers the phone only to lie to her that he's busy, "I'm going to a meeting now." If Hee-joo really wants Ki-jun, she should not force him into marriage. She thinks that if she does that, she'll get him for sure. Not so...Ki-jun finds it annoying and will distance himself from her controlling ways.

He's got a real problem, though, in that he is not telling her strongly enough that he doesn't want to get engaged. I don't understand his being so blase about this. Think about it--if your family was saying and doing the things his family is, wouldn't you be panicked? I know I would. I'd be saying to everyone, "Stop planning my wedding! I'm not getting engaged right now!" instead of making wry little comments and weak objections. Just what is that boy's problem?

Yeah...why isn't Ki-jun protesting strongly? It's as if he does have some interest in Hee-joo, but not really. But he did set her straight though when he said he needed some time to think if she is his life partner or not. He should have said it from the very beginning though. Because Hee-joo did go shopping for her engagement party dress and everything. She's really set on marrying Ki-jun. Ok, so she is still annoying, but now I see her character as kind of a sad, unrequited love kind of character. In the opening credits, her character did show to the audience that she was a sad, lonely girl. Here I was trying to pin all the blame on Hee-joo for being so forceful when I should have been nagging Ki-jun for leading her on. Not exactly leading her on, but not setting her straight from the beginning that he was not interested in marrying her.

Yep. Had to be loser Hyunku. NOW is the time to speak up. The day of the engagement is going to come and he's just going to say, "Well, maybe not." which is just pretty cowardly no matter who the girl is. BTW, is that girl's haircut bad or what? It's almost as bad as Younglan's wig.

Like everyone else on this topic, i wonder why Ki-jun can't be a man and set everything straight with Hee-joo and his mom. From my opinion, it seems like he knows he has feelings for Hee-joo, but is waiting to find out if something will develop between In-young and himself. ::)He's trying to play it safe, so that he ends up with someone, even if one of the relationships won't work. That's so unfair! If he really likes In-young, he should follow his heart and not be afraid of what could possibly happen. ;D

It really struck me in last night's episode when he seemed very far from saying to her, or even thinking, that he wanted her to leave him alone. He does act as though he still might want her.

They are getting a technician from Florida, and the problem should be resolved tomorrow. Please be patient, everyone. WOCH is a very tiny, local station. Bo
