This guy is so cool! He is open-minded, easy going and has a good heart. I felt sorry for him singing in the middle of the night and how the next day he put himself down to his brother saying that he was useless, or something like that. Look how older Grandpa is having his son find out how much $$$ is takes to produce and market a music cd. He feels sorry for his brother and seems to want to help him with his dream of making that cd.

Yeah, younger grandpa is by far one of my favorite characters in the drama, his open-mindedness makes him very laid back and easy going...I hope he gets to see his family soon because I feel bad for him not being able to see them.

I like Singing Grandpa, too. It bothers me a little when they act like he's useless, but it's also sort of cute because you know he will always be the baby brother to them. He doesn't even look as old as Hee-gup (boys' father), but I know that can't be the case, right? Maybe they are roughly contemporary, like Hee-gup was born when Grandpa #2 was 9 or 10 or so? That would allow for Grandpa #1 being in his early 20s when his son was born, and thus maybe 10 or 11 years older than G'pa #2.
Singing Grandpa is cute and has a great head of hair. He has a very good temperament, too. I do think he should know better than to turn up the volume and wail away like that after midnight, though!

Sounds like everyone has forgiven him for his financial fraud. He's been following the penalty Grandpa set up, working in the store regularly, but I wonder what he was thinking in past times that he could run up debts and then steal money from his family to pay them. He's sweet and empathetic, and adds to family harmony now, though. (Wonder what kind of salary he got that night he sang in the club. Maybe he could ask if he could sing sometimes instead of working in the store, like once a week.) Also, he has a family that we've only seen him contact once. Hope we find out more about them. (Hope he doesn't have a girlfriend.)

And he's got no $$$-he'd need $$$ to have a girlfriend! This guy definately deserves a little story-line about himself!

No, I don't believe he does have or will have a GF. We've seen him talk to his wife (in America) a couple of times, and he's always lovey-dovey. He's said in English, "I looove yoooo forever and ever!" He also talks to other people about missing her.

I did hear him say something about someone like implying a wife or someone in America, but not sure. He was singing pretty late, why don't they just help him and maybe he'll be happier. I like his character so modern and opened minded. as for being as young as other grandpa. I have an aunt that is 1 year younger than me, my grandfather had a kid when he remarried and he was older. One year later my mother had me so those things happen.

Also, Raven, there are many situations like that in both my parents' families because they were very large--13 and 10 kids each--so sometimes an aunt is born around the same time as a niece or nephew, and that passes down to the next generation too.
Younger Grandpa definitely was shown talking on the phone to his wife who is in America running their business (a store), and they were discussing their daughter (Sumi?), who seemed to be a little bit of a trouble for them. Also, at Yoon-sik's wedding, the two grandmas were discussing that Sumi's mom did not want to spend the airfare to come and/or leave the store untended. Predictably, she was criticized by elder Grandma and excused by Gr Duk-ja.
He's a cute grandpa, but he does act like Sang-sik sometimes. If he's scolded, he tends to yell and tell everyone why it's not his fault, and he's kind of a coward to his brother and sister, but then he turns around and gets that cute appealing act going... I guess it's that youngest child thing. (No offense, as I say to my youngest sister, LOL.)
