Poor eldest brother (Yoonsik?)! He gets called chicken eyes and gay and it's only the first 3 episodes. Aigu that Aunt of his.
And what was the whole big deal she made with the Grandma and Granpa sleeping on the same bedding? They have been married for probably 50 years.

Wow! What happened there?
I think it's the old morals story, you really don't see too much public display of affection in these soaps. Even private displays are pretty mild, like a kiss on the forehead or cheek. So walking in on two people sleeping under the same blanket would be a shock and embarrassment, regardless of the lenght of time the couple were together. The old biddy should have knocked and deserves what she got.

So walking in on two people sleeping under the same blanket would be a shock and embarrassment... The old biddy should have knocked It's like that in alot of European cultures, too. Little in the way of privacy---people live in close quarters and cannot imagine our American view of privacy. And the fact that she would rag her sister about sleeping with him and how sis replied by teasing her with details...it reminds me of my in-laws from the old country.

I particularly liked how the relationship between the married grandparents was set up so vividly. There they were, verbally abusing each other and grinning like cheshire cats. They were so comfortable together, it was clear they'd been attuned to each other for decades. Also, I loved when the older aunt said to her mother, "Didn't you know they're still sweethearts?" Then she grinned into her soup--probably thinking, "Yeah, that would be cool..." and wondering if Cha would really pursue her.
Also, it was very funny when Sangsik came running into the kitchen with the big news--Grannie and Grampie sleep together! I loved the shock on all the boys' faces, and when their dad said, "Shut up! It's none of your stupid business, you disrespectful gits!" Well, okay, those are Bo words...
