Sometimes it seems their goal is to not pay anybody anything~~~~ LOL! I think that's the truth.

Is this the series with the home being called "Happy House"? I think that's the name of the veterinarian's place owned by the oldest brother in the house, and located on the first floor of the family villa, as is a cafe run by the youngest aunt. Lots of stuff going on in this drama, all homey. Bo

I'm sorry that they're not showing a new release, but this one will be new to me, and it sounds like a really good series. I'll be sure to tune in.

Well, even though I totally sympathize with those of you who have already seen it, I am happy that you liked it the first time!
Isn't one of the characters Lady Jung (older lady) from Dae Jang Geum, as well as Lady Choi?
Thanks for your candor!

Just thought I’d chime in with my two cents worth . . .
I remember WML from some time ago (though I missed the first 20 or so episodes) and as I recall, I wasn’t that enthused about it in the beginning. It seemed like they had a lot of minor storylines going on at the same time, and together it just didn’t seem to add up to anything meaningful.
So, I took a casual attitude about the show: I’d usually watch it, but if I missed an episode it was no big deal.
But, after a time, I really came to love all the (sometimes quirky) characters. There’s a lot of humor there, too – rather low-key, but surely enough to raise a few smiles. And Hana (Lee Tae-ran from YH) looks absolutely frightful with the frizzy hair in the beginning, but once she gets that straightened out she never looked better. YH fans should watch WML just to see her in a completely different role.
If you haven’t seen WML yet, please give it a fair trial. You might end up really enjoying it.

Isn't one of the characters Lady Jung (older lady) from Dae Jang Geum, as well as Lady Choi? Yah, sweetie, I put this on a previous page in this thread: "As something to look forward to for WML, I tell you that not only does it feature the versatile and fabulous Kyun Mi-ree and the surprisingly talented Lee Tae-ran, the cast also includes from DJG Lady Park (big kitchen head lady) as another aunt, Lady Han's mentor (Lady Jung? the pantry lady who is put in as a stop-gap head kitchen lady then takes over) as the grandmother, and from OMR, Mr Oh as "Cha" and the Bad Dad who killed Oh's first wife as the father of the three sons who are the main focus of WML." Bo PS - I did a Mikey on this series, too (although part of the reason I did not watch in the beginning was not knowing the showtimes), and I am really happy to be able now to see the whole thing, beginning to end.

The station generally wasn't showing so many repeats, but they no longer have Michael, who did a wonderful job of subtitling shows.

First of all - I'm BACK! Finally been able to access the board after a month or more!
WAAAAAHHHHH!!! I Just LOVED this show! Even if it's a repeat, I'm still jealous because this is one of my favorite dramas. (Although I'm now watching the first Volume of DJG and I have to say that it's also a favorite...okay, I'll have to start categorizing favorites...it's my favorite HISTORICAL, WML is my favorite DAILY (ok, it's technically not, but at 84 epis, that's what I'm calling it ;D) and Winter Sonata as my favorite modern)
Ok, so I digressed, but I'm so jealous of you guys! :-)

Bo, I have missed your humor! Now that I've read the thread, it does seem ironic that you're getting more repeat programming when there are so many good/funny dramas available. Right now, there's I'm Sorry I love You (I like it, but it's SO sad), Emperor of the Sea, and Sad Love Song. I'm not being as good as Knov...I still can't watch just ONE! LOL (Although I've been missing MPC and don't really care...kind of bored with that one) Melissa

First of all - I'm BACK!...Melissa Hi, Missy! (We used to call my cousin Melissa that. I won't if you hate it.) So good to see you again. Have you & fam taken your trip to Chicago yet? If so, how was it? If not, when? I'm happy we're seeing WML, because I missed at least the first third, if not the first half, and I was sorry. But I do hope this repeating Korean soap meal is not a trend. (Eugh!) I, too, just got my first DJG set, and was crying my head off yesterday watching the first episode for the first time. (I missed 1 & 2 on TV.) I could not believe how beautiful the love story was between Jang-geum's parents--I would have watched an entire series about those two! I especially liked the part where she is following him across the countryside, after he rescues her from the tavern--very evocative of the later relationship between JG and Min. Sigh. But. Enough of that, here. I agree with you--Dae Jang-geum is my favorite historical, Who's My Love my favorite family drama, Winter Sonata/Love Song my favorite mini-series and for my favorite, all-time, wunnerful, wunnerful daily drama, I choose....Yellow Handkerchief! (Ta daaaa!) Bo (and MPC is -- yes -- blah.) ;D

LOL (Although I've been missing MPC and don't really care...kind of bored with that one) LOL.. part of the reason why I'm only watching one drama (which I didn't mention before) is because I'm drama'ed out. It seems like all I've been watching for the past couple of years is sad dramas. For now, one drama is enough for me. I'm Sorry, I Love You is a great drama. Best drama of 2004 but, like you said, it's a sad story. Haeshin (Emperor of the Sea) is definitely worth watching and MPC is worth skipping. I passed on Sad Sonata so no comment on that one.

Thanks for the clarification, Knov! DH told me the other night I watch more dramas than his mom. He said his family usually watches just ONE drama. Egads! If I had to do THAT, I'd probably choose I'm Sorry, I Love You....and then watch some more DJG! LOL (And lest anyone think I only watch dramas, alas, no. I homeschool my 2 children, and work on DH's website in addition to everything else that goes on in a house...let's just say, I usually need to destress EVERY DAY! LOL) But to get back on topic, I kind of wish TAN would show a repeat of WML...or at least let YesAsia produce it and sell it REALLY REALLY cheap. Melissa

I just recognize the guy with the weird hair, is he supposed to have corn rows? I saw part of it, it looks interesting, but again, I get too frustrated w/out subtitles. I saw the music video for Sad Sonata but I'm not sure if that's what the actual drama is about. Two friends, both like the same girl, someone ends up dying.
