i serviced 2 years in US army in korea as korean soldier(KATUSA), what i saw was that american people have spirit of chivalry..
maybe that reason you peole like korean history drama more than melo dramas..
but in other asian countries like japan, arabs, they like korean melo drama..(winter sonata)
immotral YSS was the greatest hit drama in korea, but in other aisan coutnries was not.
i am very pleased you people like the drama IYSS.
and now the greatest film i suggest is the movie "Shawdowless Sword"
In this movie you will find korean's loyalty to the promise.

and the hystory drama watching now interestingly in korea is "Seoul 1945" in KBS . Sin-don and Su-dong-yo is not intereting.

I thought shadowless swords was just an ok movie.
Do you know when King and the clown will release on DVD?

as nationality, the favorite contents id different..
becuz maybe the clown and king will be not interesting to normal americans.

King and the clown was hit in korea, becuz it expressed well korean underclass people's mind...
southern people saw it much.(i dont like it personally)
that film is no relation to YISS or the warrior of age's loyalty and valor

well I like to watch both historical and modern dramas. But right now all they are showing are the modern ones. I really want KBC to air a historical drama. I love all the fighting and war scenes, the fight between right and wrong, good and evil, just love that. Just like Braveheart. That is one of my favorite movies, and I just loved the fact that they were fighting for a cause, for freedom. Thats why I loved YSS, and frankly I dont think I'll ever find another historical drama to replace YSS. But I still want to want to watch historicals, I just wish KBC would hurry up and air one!!!
I saw the trailer for Shadowless Sword and I think I'm going to order it on yesasia. It looks pretty good, and I like those kind of movies.
