I visited one of Bae Yong Jun fan sites recently and someone one the fan board posted his fan mailing address. I wanted to know if anyone else knew if this is his correct mailing address.

I have no idea. Maybe I'll send him a postcard or something. Do they send you anything if you join his club?

speaking about BaeYongJun... I didn't want to say anything until I viewed the DVD...(which I did on Sunday afternoon)
He stars in something called "Untold Scandal" Its a historical drama so his look is extremely different... but it's HIM! It runs about 2-1/2 hours... he role is so different. Most of the time he's dressed in white ... and he's trying to seduce a 16-year old who is promised to be someone's wife.
I don't want to give too much away... the ending is ... something else!
I read about Untold Scandal online... it was playing at the Music Box Theatre in Chicago...Then I went on Ebay.... and found it! it's coded for our region and it's English subtitled.
But I have to say again, BaeYongJun is the star, but he doesn't even remotely resemble Joonsang. It's a very intense love story with some beautifully graphic lovemaking scenes ... nothing you would see on Winter Sonata!

So you wouldn't recommend that movie? Did it really change your view of BaeYong Jun's character?

Oh... in a heartbeat I would recommend it. It just confirms what a good actor Bae Yong Jun is. The historical novels have such an elegance to them. The storyline is set in the 15th century... part of the Chosun Dynasty.
As part of the intro, it states that Untold Scandal is based on the story Dangerous Liaisons .
The music, cinematography, casting.... is wonderful. I'm very pleased to add Untold Scandal to my video collection...

Anybody who's impressed by Bae Young-joon in WLS is recommanded NOT to see Scandal- the movie. Bae personally said he wanted a bit of diversion from his romantic image and this is part of his experiment. You'll see him having plenty of affairs with other ladies and sometimes, so explicitly that Japan banned teenage watchers. Of course he finally comes across a true love but tragedy strikes. The true virtue of this movie is the background however. You'll see how noble women of Joseon dynasty dresses herself, natural make-up kits and other fancy ornaments that exceed Dae Jang-geum. Okay, I warned ya all~ p.s. For more romantic image of Bae, I'd rather wait for Bae's latest film "Wae-chool" which is still being filmed.

While I agree his character/image is really quite oppossite of WLS, I simply meant that BYJ is a wonderful actor. To portray, convincingly, two very opposite roles, I admire his talent. He wanted diversion, he got it.
In reading things about him, I understand him to be unlike other wildly popular actors in that he's careful with his personal life and what he says on camera.
I'll stick to my recommendation of the Scandal film.... his hisorical character, while not complimentary to BYJ, is probably accurate. Then, as now, there is much human tragedy when it comes to the affairs of the heart. The ending is proves that tragedy. It's a well done film.

I just went on Yesasia.com to view the CD/DVD product kathleen recommended on the OST thread. I found this thing called "The Ultimate Bae Yong-Joon Box Set - THE IMAGE VOL. ONE." It appears to contain a ton of BYJ photos. It's not something I would buy, but if you guys want an eyeful, you should go look at the pictures on the website. (Nothing naughty there, by the way.) There is a series of photos under the heading "Secrethysteric" that showcase his body, and let me say, I had no idea what he was hiding under those bulky sweaters and scarves! I always thought in WLS that he looked like he might be a little soft, which, to be honest, I prefer (call me weird), but in these photos he is buff, muscular, ripped, whatever you want to call it. I would never have pegged him as the workout type of guy, but apparently he is, or at one time was.

LOL = your comments about what's under those sweaters and scarves!

Goodness. I like that the fansite plays the WLS song, it sounds much better on my computer than it does on my TV, for some reason. And as for Lucy's observation--good grief. Whatta bod. Bo

That jigsaw puzzle, I think, is some kind of high-tech jigsaw puzzle--computerized, interactive, or something . . . I didn't read enough of the description to figure it out. I just took another look at those pictures, and WOW, I can't believe those muscles. He looks like such a little scholar in WLS. Remember, Joon-sang won the Math Olympiad in Seoul before he transferred to the high school. That's quite a range of natural talents he's got there.

The article said he and his trainer came to L.A. (I think) and spent 100 days on special diets and exercises to buff up. He set a goal of 100 days, and both agreed not to emerge until the time was up. Boy, what determination and focus! :'(Sigh....he was so near and yet - so far....Sigh
