I'm confused as to whether I like her or not. I don't like her because of the way she treats Sanghyuk, but then again I kind of understand her. I was surprised when she said that she had no feelings for Miunhyng, and even more surprised when he told her he loved her.
She looks a lot like lady Han (from Jang-geum) only younger.

I kind of like her. I mean, she was being nice to Sanghyuk in a way by marrying him b/c he was in love with her. She's just got a problem b/c she fell in love with someone early and has that person in her heart. I think that she just told off Minhyung because she wanted to be a "good girl" (what is with the obsession that crazy chicks have with calling normal people bad girls just because they're in love??) and stay with her beau of ten years.
I wonder how it'll change when she finds out that MH is really JS - I was assuming that Minhyuk wasn't for a while, but then when he played that piano piece (after not remembering any lessons that he took) it was obvious that it was him. Also, what's going to happen when he realizes it? I don't think he'll accept her until she falls in love with him for whom he is now instead of keeping him at 18 in her heart.

I also think that Min-hyung could be Joon-sang because of the piano scene. He said he didn't know how to play, yet he naturally knew how when he touched the keys.
I like Yu-jin's character. Especially her sense of style! It's so sophisticated, preppy, and elegant! I just don't like how she treats Sang-hyuk. She's always saying sorry to him and I don't even remember when was the last time they hugged. But if Yu-jin can't get over Joon-sang and still has lingering feelings for him and finding interest in Min-hyung, Yu-jin should tell Sang-hyuk. She can't keep having him on the rebound because he's going to get hurt.

I like Yujin's style sometimes. Other times it's plain - like when she went to see Sanghyuk in Seoul and was wearing a baggy sweater over a white collared shirt. Or the "dresses" she was looking at for the company party - not even dressy!
Unfortunately, there isn't really a character whose style I love in this show. Cherin comes closest for the girls (her clothes, not her hair!) and she misses a lot of the time too. Everyone else is too baggy.

I loved those toggle coats they all wore as schoolchildren. Where can I find one of those (in that style, with the big hood)? I don't like Yujin's look at all, but it's mostly because of her hair. It's just terrible, to my eye. I keep waiting for it to grow out. She looks like a clothespin doll or the mom in "The Family Circus." Part of the problem is her mopey, expressionless face--if she had more exciting hair, we would have something to look at. I mean, I get it, Yujin is sad, but this is supposed to be acting we're looking at, not a static comic strip. So, combined with her plain clothes, which I like, there's not much visual interest.

I actually like Yu-jin's style of the sweater over a white collared long-sleeved shirt ! Yeah, it is kind of plain, but it's a classic look. I love it!

Actually, the sweater-over-shirt look isn't too bad; what I hate so much about her clothes is that they hang on her because she wears them so baggily (is that even a word?). If she only got clothes that fit better... Her hair is sometimes not so bad, when it falls correctly, but most of the time it does look like a bowl cut given to her by a two-year-old. Ah well, if she had fashion sense, she wouldn't be the angelic good girl that they're trying to portray, because girls with cute fitted clothes and nice hair are all EVIL.

I agree that a nice sweater over a white collared long-sleeved shirt is a classic, preppy look. However, she did the exact same thing when she was young, except it looked good because it was fitted. Now it looks as though she's wearing her mom's clothes. She's a petite woman wearing really big clothes. That hair of hers is UGLY no matter how it falls IMO. She looked about half her age when she had it nice, long and straight. But I guess that was the whole point...but still, they kept Cherin's hair long, why couldn't they have given her a more stylish cut?

The costuming is kind of funny with this series. You may have noticed that Min-yhung wears those big turtleneck sweaters all the time. I don't know what that is supposed to signify.
I think the costumer is trying to show that Yu-jin has never let go of her childhood in any way. She has mourned for her lost love all these years, and she was all set to marry her other childhood friend/suitor, presumably because he's, you know, there. Safe.
The baggy styles seem to support a picture of her as vulnerable, too. She hides behind her clothing. She looks gawky and teenaged, still running to catch late appointments, yet she's a respected designer in a major company. Have any of you seen "What Not to Wear"? This sort of thing is more common than you might think.

Bo The big turtleneck sweaters, to me, signify him trying to break free of his cucoon. He's trying to evolve, be himself, grow up a little and start to take life a bit seriously. If you've noticed the colors they pick, like bright and parrot-colored gree, golds, adn blues also could mean something. Green: In touch with his senses knows what he wants and goes after it. Gold: Vibrant, full-of-life, bold and charming. Blue: MEllow, sad, and somewhat afraid of life and what it stores for him

And here I was thinking that there was more of a reason for the turtlenecks - as in scars from the accident or something.

I thought the turtlenecks were just worn because it was winter time or it's a cool fashion ;D!
About those scars, it could make sense too. Remember in the episodes in the beginnings? The one with Yu-jin, Joon-sang, and the drunk elderly man in the alley? Both Yu-jin and Joon-sang got pretty bruised up from the fight. And the next day in school, Cherin was all over Joon-sang asking about his bandages whereas Sang-hyuk was asking Yu-jin what happened to her because she also had bandages. Could it be those scars?

That's a good observation about the scars. Also, if he really did try to cover up certain scars... wouldn't he have known he was joon-sang the moment yu-gin mentioned his accident et cetera? i'm thinking... maybe the scars are so invisible that he just doesn't notice them.
